Qristina and Quinn Bachand visited me! (I think I already said that).
Here we quickly thought of a set to record, a jig and two reels: The Mist on the Mountain / Brenda Stubbert's / The Otter's Holt.
Still don't have their CD? I do, get it!

It's a sad thing that you guys don't have millions of views by now. Top notch musicianship.
I love seeing people play music and look like they are having a great time while doing it. That's what it's all about right there. Great job
This is my fav performance of brenda stubberts reel

You guys are absolutely awesome! I love to see people my age playing this kind of music too, thanks for sharing!

I had not heard such wonderful music.
Absolutely wonderful!
Gosh, this is great! I can't stop smiling during this now... and, I do need to buy their CD soon...

This is virtuoso musicianship by any standard, great! What speed and accuracy on a low whistle, and how it all.fits in,and so young- keep gping, guys!
Hi guys
Just wanted say I really enjoyed this video!!!
I love the moment when guitarist de-tunes for the big suspended chords!!
Very cool!!
Great whistle playing as usual!!
Cheers
Phillip
you guys sound great. love the low whistles!!
Great playing!!
You guys are awesome!! Thanks for sharing this!
This is flawless, guys. Keep up the good work!
muy linda musica!
you guys are soo good, play whistle myself and it's awesome too see people my age play aswell, good luck!
Okay. Tin Whistle Awesome. Fiddle Awesome. That rhythm guitar though threw me for a loop. AWESOME! Not to detract from the others but I was surprised someone so young had such a great sense of rhythm and chord structure. I know he wasn't just playing standard major/minor stuff there. Nice playing all. Together you make a great group.
That was awesome! Got me pumped!
lo haceis genial,maestros
very nice...this music gets right into me...
Fantastic!
The guitar is amazing!!
muy bueno!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for making this, it was awesome! :)
we were just watching the video and remembering our visit, it was way too short... but we look forward to getting together in Ireland this summer! Take care PJ! Qristina & Quinn
GREAT!!
woooow amaaazing
amazing playing, especially the guitar part.
that style of playing is so pleasant to hear and youve got it down 100% :D
This is so great! brenda stubbert's and otters holt meld so nicely! I'm looking forward to seeing Quinn play at the Edmonton Folk fest this summer--but I wish it was the three of you playing together!
no les pude quitar un segundo la mirada...
son realmente asombrosos.
felicitaciones :D
Awesome.
very nice, i like the smile and shrug you gave the girl according to the guitarist at 1:04, very entertaining, you have yet again impressed me greatly
Pretty awesome. Thank you very, very much.
I can tell this are three thoroughly good human beings
Outstanding! All of you! Wich I was that good on the whistle. I also wich I had such talented people to play with!
awesome......
Majorca, an island off the coast of Spain.
very very good
bravo, bravo.
Neat how the young guy is mixing the Irish with the Spanish music. ALL is Celtic!
I really love it!:)
the violin sounds awsome in this
great stuff :)
Sweetness...
FANTASTIC ... :-)
this is groovy!! nice!
:O!!
increibles
i love your sound
Just found you Bachands today for the first time and downloaded your new CD (mp3 format) from CDBaby. Terrific! Quinn, your playing is a tour de force refresher course in fun, inventive modern Celtic backup. Thanks for sharing this! And hello from jsutacross the water in Washington State...
Wow can't beleave it: You just keep on going. Do enjoy your videos : 0 )
From Utah USA
I've been playing guitar for 3 years (but I also play classical violin, which I've been playing for 8 years) Quinn
Oye, genial! pero con lo q flipo más es con el chavalin de la guitarra. Vaya toqueeee!!!
wow...
Nice stuff!
I like the retuning part...on the fly :)
greets Mike
Love Brenda Stubbert's. Alasdair's version floors me all the time. Actually floored isn't accurate.. more like makes me get up and dance.. you know what I mean!
Hope they come visit you again. And you come over here!
Quinn's guitar playing reminds me of Zac Leger's. I like it. :-) Great whistling and fiddling as well, of course. Keep up the good work!
Yes! He does tune it! I thought no one would see. That's mastership!
And the harmny he's been going through! He's changing the chords "in play". Wow-wee!
PJ where did you got this guys?! They're absolutely terrific!
And the tune is great as well. GREAT job!
WHOA THAT WAS REALLY GOOD!!!! =]
Fiddler is so beautiful.... :)))
Irish music is also beautiful.
excellent :)
All I got to say is my god . Video is very under appreciated
Amazing as usual:) Lucky you, at least you had the chance of playing with them...not me!
Heu de tocar més coses junts.
Em sembla fantàstic.
That's a hell of a lot of talent crammed into one small CZcams frame! I don't think 5 stars does this justice, but since that's as much as I can give it, that's what it got.
Also I didn't notice the first few times I watched it the Quinn quickly tunes a string a bit at 0:55 and 0:59 !
the first tunes a scottish tune . mist covered mountains of home
you guys are INSANE. Is it legal to be THAT GOOD?!!
That first Jig is the "Mist Covered Mountain" yes? Theres other Tuna by the name of Mist on the Mountain and I've been really confused here for a bit trying to sort it out. I'm really interested in this one tho so I'm learning it off a Martin Hayes record and he's calling it Mist Covered Mountain. Just wanted to be clear here. Thanks. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL tune by the way :)
Colin Smith the mist covered mountain jig is by juniour Crehan. it's about mt callen near his home. de dannan do a decent version of it in a unusual key.
super
the little guy is a miracle child
I hate you guys for being so talented! Keep it going. Cheers from Los Angeles,California.
i think you guys should start your own band ... you and your brother ..lolz .. Great job as always..
Perhaps it's just the recording but it seems to me that the guitar is playing in a different key than the whistle and the fiddle. Exceptional whistling as always.
PJ, you did a great job again... It's just amazing to listen to such a good music!
Selah
HaileISela
nice 1, as usual =)
keep up the good work, mate ^^
POR QUE MI FLAUTA NO SUENA ASI? COMO SE LLAMA ESA FLAUTA?
tio que bien que tocan
It was good, my only problem was the beggining with just the tin wistle and the guitar, the guitar did not sound right to me.
PJ, sin ti su cd creo que no será lo mismo. En verdad que suena genial los tres juntos. Cómo los conocistes? Saludos
What key is that whistle in?
lol looks similar!
@mtbanshee Whoops! that's 'just across' the water.... got away from me....
please can you tell me where you get that flute from?
you need some one to play Dulcimer and Budrahn, maybe even celesta and harp. and drummer/timpani
hi there, this is Quinn (the geetar dude), I was 12 then, I just turned 13 though.
were did you get that flute from?
Please tell what kind of whistle that is. I want to buy one to learn and that's the exact one I want.
It's a Chieftain low D whistle. But it's an old model, they don't make it anymore, sorry.
@@TinWhistler thank you very much. But have you tried another low D whistle that's comparable?
@@kfossi1986 No, sorry. But I've always heard the best low whistles are the ones by Colin Goldie.
@@TinWhistler thanks...
were are these guys from... they dont seem irish
Is Quinn keeping in tune there or actually switching tunings? Regardless, sounds incredible :D
very nice you konw~~~
guys if i could, id do anything in my power to boost u up, and get u a studio to produse ur music, and id buy ur records! ur amazing!
were are these guys from.. they dont seem irish?
Oh, come on! the lad on the low whistle might not be (then again, just might...), but the lass and the young lad must be from Tubbercurry or Ballintrillick for sure, by the looks of them...
Arteee!
That's one mean rhythm guitarist.
I've shown this to several other musicians. What is wrong with the guitar tone?
@siriusmercurio It's a LOW WHISTLE, not a flute. jeez
and to think none of them are even irish..impressive stuff right there
Stick with this guitarist!;)
hey wee guitarist! good job - except for the beginning---nice style, though, I like it a lot ----teach me .....!
fantastic whistle and guitar!! fiddle isn't anything special, sorry x
