I think his point was one way of measuring athleticism is one’s versatility in being good or competitive in more than one sport. Not the best way to word it but highly athletic guys can learn how to compete in other sports faster than others.

He KOd walker who at the time was average Striker and leaving his chin exposed the whole fight... he hasn't fought these kinds of elite strikers yet... he has a chance to win... but only if he learns to switch stance and move more laterally and gain quickness. There are some occasions and situations when people dislike and hate on someone because they are black, but this is not one of those situations. MMA fans generally love DC and he's black. Jamahal Hill also got extensive praise when he first became champ. Very difficult because he trows it without his hips. I did some kickboxing and most guys you can see the kick coming with him he hides it so well you will almost always be late to check. Best bet is close distant fast and fight the dirty fight but that is also dangerous for a guy with this amount of power

Jamal is right about early stoppage...Jiri has come back from worse than that and won. He looked surprised when they stopped it. Let the championship fight play out! I have seen many situations where they let them go far too long before stopping it lol! This one was not long enough.
It was an early stoppage but jiri took it like a man. Most fighters would of cried and whined. Jiri actually agreed that he was knocked out for a second and that it was a learning experience. Talk about a great outlook.

It was an alright stoppage. Coulda let it go more, but right when the ref stop the fight, Jiri fell flat, and Alex actually got a full mount position. So for the Ref, it's all about would you like the crowd to see some more brutal pounding or would you save Jiri from losing some several brain cells. I think he went for the later.

Jiri is the kind of fighter that drags everyone into a war, setting his pace and pulling you into it, even if that’s not your style. Glover got dragged into Jiri’s pace and was winning the majority of it
Jamahal also dragged Glover into his pace which was a technical methodical match instead of a wild war, and he just picked Glover apart and didn’t let him get his gameplan going. It's basically personality. It does influence how people feel about someone, even in a physical competition.
It's quite obvious but a lot of MMA fans like to beat around the bush to mask their true feelings. Ever notice that Black or Muslim fighters seem to get a disproportional amount of hate for displaying confidence in themselves (i.e. Usman, Islam, Izzy, Bilal, Aljo, Khabib, etc.)? These fighters are often told that they need to be "humbled" or they're labelled "boring", "cringe", etc. despite finishing their opponents and being dominant. This is one of those times. Jamahal Hill dominated the same guy in Glover who was dominating Jiri for their entire fight outside of the last 30 seconds. Despite this fact, people are trying to dismiss Hill's win by saying that he beat an old guy while simultaneously calling Jiri a "warrior" for doing much less. Racism is still very prevalent today but people think that it's only applicable when it's explicitly conveyed
