Excellent step by step video, the best i have come across so far. I was able to follow the video closely and replicate the process to replace my broken LCD screen. The only place I am stuck at is reinstalling the outer glass screen. What is the best tape to use? You mention M3 in your video but did you mean 3M?
did you google M3 tape? i think it's safe to assume he meant 3M, the most well known tape manufactures.
I just want to remove my (broken) screen off permanently and make it into a desktop. Is it the same process? or can I be more wreckless?
are you able to touch the lcd bc you have gloves on? i always hear touch the screen directly will ruin it. thanks
I want to replace just my aluminum "lid". I'm not sure what the technical term for the aluminum case with the glowing apple is called. My LCD and glass are fine. Are there replacement "lids" to make the outside look new?

Hi, I have a 2010 15 MB pro with a matt hi res screen, and a 2012 15 MB Pro with a normal screen. I would like to swap them over. Would this be OK? Thanks
