Great idea. You can use alcohol markers or sharpies to color the staples so they either blend in or coordinate with the cover.

I Love Mini journals... I just Love making books! These are adorable. I Often find I Eat Underprice my items, but, it's ok... they sell! People Love these guys, an easy twist, Address book, or, appointments, etc... I enjoyed your video!!!

I see that this is 2 years old but who cares! It was well, executed without a lot of extra talking. The idea is simple and quickly doable! and ends up quite lovely...yes, I have tons of extra paper so I guess I am off to make mini journals! LOL! By the way, your nails looked very nice.

I did something similar to this using 4.5 x 6.5 paper, but I glued them back to back and then put lined coloured paper on one side of the page, so there's a writing spot.

I bought a cheap stencil that has lines and dots to make journalling spots. You can also get stamps.
