Recap, the glitch is to have the same classes for dual destiny. choose peace together. Run and grab the class item asap and book it to the load at the same time for a "join allies" teleport. That takes you both back so you can activate the second totem and get a second class item. double dippid.
Maybe I'll finally get the Graviton Lance catalyst that has never dropped for me since the gun came into existence. 🤪
It's honestly the best improvement I've every seen from the Base Weapon. Rips things apart this season.

I’ve gotten the exotic class item as a world drop after completing the mission 3 times all random encounter doesn’t seem to have anything to do with it it will drop roughly every 20-30 chests

My titan can't use that 69 roll, it's built for resilience, discipline and intellect.
As a solo player myself i promise all my other solo player friends to put up with fireteam finder this ONE TIME to get this exotic. I only ran it once and completed it. After that i farmed about 3 hours of chests in the Landing in Pale Heart . You average about 20-30 mins to get 1 to drop. Its boring sure but play some music in the background and time flies. I have a total of 14 now. If you need help or a guide to run through the Exotic mission let me know, ill do my best to explain the mechanics

@iwishihadgoodinternet7766 From my experience, it only comes from 2 kinds of chest. 1 being the chest with the black tangles and yellow aura on it and regular chests that spawn around the map.

@@jasonballesteros2562 They can also spawn from the final chest you get when killing the final boss of overthrow, I got one earlier today. They can also drop from high-value target chests.

I just ran it for the first time with a random from fireteam finder. It was actually enjoyable, but maybe I just got lucky. We had both watched videos prior to running it so we sort of knew what to do.

HOIL is my favorite exotic armor piece at the moment... goes well with all my builds. I might cop this HOIL as I am in need of recovery on one of my builds. Just don't want it to mess up my current 100 on resilience.🍻

how about us titant's get not just shit again we sucked for the raid and the only thing we can fucking can do is consecration spam besides some ability recovery shenanigan on prismatic we are actually suffering, hunters have better punch builds as well the list goes on.

I just grind the matchmade nightfall and get about 6 coins per run. After doing it just a couple hours through the week I ended up with 90 before xur got here. Could've had more but didn't spend as much time as possible doing nightfalls. *edit note I already had favor of the nine from last week's Xur*

I don’t think the buff is working I’ve had it since xurs 1st visit last week I’ve been farming streaks for exotic catalyst and exotics the 3x doesn’t work. It is bugged out the strang coins don’t always drop now
What is the secret mission you found on the helm, you mentioned there is a secret activity that kicked up a notch but you never said what secret?
Its not in the helm, its on Nessus but you have to do the seasonal activity in the helm first in order to gain the quest.
it's called "Enigma Protocol" you find it through a secondary mission from the seasonal vendor. It guides you to the well of echoes on nessus. It's a timed mission that is harder than dual destiny though so be prepared.

Those numbers you noticed for their weirdness in Xur's strange material interface are just prime numbers. I don't know if if's referencing something in game or not though. 🤔 I bet someone will figure it out. Unless it's just a nod to the lore behind The Nine.

It was a quest during the time of the red war I believe but then became a random world drop for a bit, then got put in with the other exotics in the kiosk to buy with ciphers

Yes. all you have to do is strikes, crucible, or gambit, all give strange coins.

Re: getting a class item, you CAN get it from chests but only AFTER you beat Dual Destiny once. I've got 2 exotic class item drops so far from random patrol chests on the Pale Heart. Once you beat the mission it should show up in Ghost vendor menu and then become a possible world drop.

You can definitely farm exotic class items from pale heart chests after doing the dual destiny mission at least once. It’s about 1/20 chests.
Yes 100% some people where saying you didn't actually have to do the mission to start farming from the chests, but i didn't think that was the case.

@@Wilhe1mScreamMedia honestly I don’t think you should have to do the mission. Just so solos can get the class item. Though some kind of similarly challenging soloable mission would be nice. See what bungie does if anything, I feel they will address it at some point as many were upset solos can get them.

I have also experienced this. Seems to be when somebody leaves, you let the timer run out and start the run again. while nobody has joined the timer seems to pause on the fresh run. I had about 17 minutes in the boss room (thats when it resumed)
For me, the glitch was in my game. We all was dead, and I had about two seconds to Respawn and the game screen was turning black and so I was pressing the Respawn button [ XBOX IT IS THE X BUTTON ]
all the time and then I Respawn back to the game and the time was off, so that has to be glitch.
I hope the sun shot catalyst comes back soon lol I have a lot of strange coins to farm.

Tbh, I have friends to play with, but not often due to work schedules. I wouldn’t have minded the class item mission being 2 people only if they marketed it that way. They didn’t say anything about that part, but used it as a way to sell the expansion. And now when we do play, one of my fireteam members or myself will have to sit out. We all planned to play together and now one of us cant every time we play this. Unless I run it with them

I agree this was not the most well thought out thing they've done. The mission itself is excellent which only makes the idea of people not being able to enjoy it that much more frustrating. I'm sure there can be some happy medium, between difficult endgame content and allowing a bit more access.

I would absolutely LOVE a way to get trials loot without playing trials. Some of those weapons I really want but I don't have much of an incentive to play Trials so that would be great.

once youve completed "Dual Destiny" any chest in any instance of Pale Heart can drop the exotic class item 100% confirmed.
Does that include lost sectors?
@Wilhe1mScreamMedia I've not personally received one from lost sector, but through out all the areas outside of the 3 overtake areas I have. While just looting a basic chest to killing a HVT. With how it's worded when you go to the lost city and speak to the ghost, they most definitely "should" drop from lost sectors as well, but can't confirm.

That favour of the nine will need to pay out like busted poker machine to make up for the FOURTY SEVEN of them you have to spend for a possibility of one maybe each time you get one. I got 30+ in no time with my first character through the campaign but then my 2 other characters only got 8 between them.
I think it will! once you double the buff I think you'll be getting at least 10 per strike in vanguard.
the thing is you don't buy the favour of the nine, you just have to spend 47 strange coins at xur on other stuff. Even if you don't want or need any of the rolls he has, the crafting materials are worth buying every week just to stack up the buff

Hunters don’t like mobility stat anymore. With moves that give back the one thing it helps refund time-wise, and exotic boots to give you better jumps, you could be tier 1 mobility and do all the jump puzzles, while giving yourself a proper jump challenge.
Ah good to know, though I honestly thought Mobility stat was more used for up time on melee, but I'm probably wrong.
@@Wilhe1mScreamMedia Melee uptime is often happening in different ways. Arc hunter has the loop between dodge and melee that refunds both, solar hunter refunds knives on kills and so on. A mobility stat of about 60 is generally enough.
@@Wilhe1mScreamMediayeah melee uptime is done by the Strength tiers. The top three stats belong to timer cooldowns on class abilities. Mobility for hunter dodge, resilience for Titan barricade and restoration for warlock rifts. I find that system outdated in their current sandbox and meta. We will see if it changes in the next couple episodes.

I'm averaging 1 drop every 15 to 10 minutes.

Pretty sure these Strange Coins aren't actually different than the ones you get from Dares. My reasoning being because I already had at least 30 Strange Coins on the first day I played this DLC that I could use at Xür, and hadn't played the game at all for about a year.
I think they transferred, but I don't know if you can earn any more from dares.

Couple of notes your level is now account wide so if your 1990 on a Warlock everything will drop at 1990 on the Hunter & Titan
Also Strange Coins cap at 99 (They did convert from the old Dares Coins)
The Gunsmith Reset time was also moved to be inline with daily game reset

To be honest, I comment here/there when I decide to. I just wanna say, I'm fine with the long videos, people may not like it but this gives me time to go over everything while he speaks so I can figure things out. I also like the breakdowns on things instead of the quick guides.
