đ© the designer should have just stopped bugging her after she did not like his designs for the second time, the bride is so nice & polite!
He was far too pushy!! Someone should have told him to back off and let the consultant do her job.
She's pathetic.
A true southern lady.
Too dang pushy. Go away!!
Stalker more like
im so glad the bridal consultant stepped up for the bride! i feel so bad that her appointment was hijacked but im so glad she found the right dress for her
I loved how she was so direct âdo you want me to speak for you? NO.â
She should have stepped in sooner, I think
Iâm glad she put a stop to the harassment by this pushy designer.
The designer hijacked that poor girlâs appointment đ. Itâs so hard to tell people to clear off when youâre naturally polite. Iâm glad she found what she wanted in the end đ
There's always a way to state our needs (and let's face it this is one of the situations where her needs were #1) politely. I think the consultant, or Randy if he was there, should have removed Henry from this bride's appointment if she could not. This was so bad.
The store has clearly given preference to its designer touting for business, rather than catering to the paying client.
That was quite bizarre. The designer came across as desperate and certainly wasn't picking up on the "please stop" vibes from the bride and her entourage. Very uncomfortable. That said, I like the dresses that both brides selected.
It was weird how he was lingering watching her in the background
Most people are bad at 'vibes'; that's why we use words like adults. He was very nice and understood immediately when the consultant finally said, "No". I thought he was adorable. A lot of designers would ignore anyone not model-thin.
Lmao
He's desperate because rent is due and he's gotta sell them dresses! đ€Łđ€Ł
@@kdphotos4691 Aw. He was trying to help. Y'all are mean
Designers should not be allowed anywhere near a bride until they have made their final decision. This poor girl was very uncomfortable. Perfect choice in the end.....she knew what she wanted and what would flatter her shape.
I love the dress she picked! The designer crossed the line......I would have been livid
yeah she was a KNOCKOUT in that final dress! imagine how much stress she would have been spared if the consultant had said "she has a couple of dresses she wants to try on first but if those don't work SHE will look through your collection and see if anything speaks to her."
Yes, her 2nd choice was beautiful on her
@@dietotakuwow polite but firm way to say no! You should be a consultant!
Aahhh! That designer was rude and pushy. Totally missed the very obvious signals given by the bride. He was so caught up with his own agenda. I am so happy that the consultant made her displeasure clear. Why on earth he had to pop back over at the end to have the final say, I'll never understand!
He was trying to help. I thought he was lovely, and he did back off when she asked him to. I think he was excited to be part of the process, he doesn't usually get to do that.
They all looked the same to me
I thought that was gracious, he was able to show there were no hard feelings. I'd work with him any time :)
@@susellis493 No, he wasn't lovely. He needs to learn to read the room. It was obvious she didn't like his dresses but he kept coming back. He put everyone in a difficult position, esp the consultant who wants to stand up for the bride but isn't supposed to offend the designer. What started out as a really fun appointment turned awkward & uncomfortable. He got himself some publicity but hurt his reputation in the process.
@@jazznpercy His dresses weren't right for her and he acknowledged that. They all worked through it and came to a happy outcome. People aren't perfect, none of us are, but he was genuinely trying to help and accepted 'No' when it was said. He was lovely. The Bride will have a happier life if she learns to speak up a little.
As an Aussie Iâm embarrassed that Henry was so pushy - the dress she chose was beautiful on her
Is he Australian đŠđș didnât even hear it I was way too pissed and so annoyed with him. Iâm from Melbourne
@@AProfColleenBKelly âŠsorry, heâs definitely an Australian!
@@AProfColleenBKelly he's Australian. Lol
@@AProfColleenBKelly Yeah, according to Google (which we all know is Absolutely True lol), he's Australian. Sigh.
@@jasminej6281 I thought he was British
The designer shouldâve backed off sooner! Thereâs a reason heâs a designer, not a stylist đł
still, you would think a designer would have some sense of what styles look good on which brides, otherwise who are they designing dresses for?
@Yolanda Omar Keeshsa
"it's not about my ego". Yes, it is
Itâs about đ°
The designer's heart was in the right place. He saw her beauty and pictured her in certain gowns. They were all lovely, but not her style. I teared up when she tried on her second choice. Perfect for her!
I don't think he had good intentions at all. Randy never suggests one of his dresses and when the bride is embarrassed to say she doesn't like it, he immediately says: take it off, it's not your gown, you have to love it
Oh please. The designer's "good intentions" were to hijack the appointment of the bride who was being filmed for the show.
@@RaquelPereira-fj4kt Actually I have seen an episode where he recommended one of his dresses and it was horrenndous
None of the dresses were particularly lovely. It wasn't even that they weren't her style, which they weren't, but none of them flattered her body at all.
@@lisaparrey1343 it was horrendous for you. he doesn't make horrendous dresses, although they're not my style. when that happens, he immediately sees on the bride's face she doesn't love it and tells her it's not the right one for her. once he even went to the dressing room to convince the bride to not even consider his dress because she was ashamed. having said that, I don't like Randy, due to other traits of his personality.
That designer really put the bride in an awkward position. It was unbelievable that he was so persistent. In my book, that was rude. He should have backed off much sooner than he did.
I literally screamed "yaaaasss" when she came out in the last dress. I love when a bride knows what is best for her, and I'm glad that Keasha was able to help her advocate for herself. She looked beautiful, I hope she and her husband are doing well
Exactly what I thought, the first pick of the designer was absolutely ridiculous! It looked like a custume, we in Germany would wear for carnival.
đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
I personally think he chose that first dress in an effort to hide her shape.... Big girls.don't have to wear tents! Smh
đđđđđđđđđđđ
Whenever I hear, "It's not about my ego", I'm pretty sure it's about that person's ego.
Henry had good intentions and I'm glad he apologised after to the bride.
I was uncomfortable watching this for her. I used to be like that, and it was so hard learning to say no to people. I did, though, and I'll never go back. I hope she gets to that point, too. It's very freeing.
The first bride had the patience of a SAINT!! Oh Dear God ~ I would have stopped him immediately! He was enough to ruin the entire experience! That's just me. I don't have patience for pushy people like that. The dress SHE chose was absolutely Beautiful on her and really flattered her.
he can't take a hint. Why is he trying to be the consultant?
5:03 I love how the worker tried to stop him and went forward, she knew the bride didnt like the dresses and that he went too far, she even told him 2 more dresses then heâs out! Love her
This designer is really creepy⊠The dress she chose is perfection on her!
He was trying to help, then he felt bad and tried to help MORE.
@@susellis493 no he was creepy not helpful
@@beth1188 No he was just tryna help .And just like the reply above says . He felt bad for not helping so he wanted to help more and by doing that he just made it more awkward . I think that he is very nice and just doesnt know how to show his care and concern cuz he saw the bride and had this little vision and wanted to help her find her dress from his own collection made by heart but that didn't work and he still talked to her at the end letting her know how beautiful she is
@@itsjihaneyeah2509 Thank you for saying this!! He was human and I love that he wanted so much to help her. I'd love to have his help to choose a dress. He was a good sport when she chose a different designer.
@@itsjihaneyeah2509 he stood in the corner like a creep in some frames..
America needs there own Jo, Al and Gok. Although I loved the lady helping her and standing up to the overbearing designer.
Yes, and UK needs to stop forcing costly dresses on brides
Kiesha is an OG in this genre. We in the US had our Randy, Keisha & Audrey before the UK
We need a Gok lol. But the dresses in Lancaster is amazingly beautiful
Not true
So you don't think that, since they are not on TV in the US, that they don't exist? LOL
âIf only I could read your mind!â Wtf dawg, you donât have to, just read the damn room! Lol I never understand how some people really canât get social cues and read the overwhelming vibe that everyoneâs giving lol
Designer was trying to be helpful but he came off as a little bit pushy. Mandi, you are a true Southern Lady! From one to another, you are BEAUTIFUL.
when she put on the second dress SHE CAME ALL THE WAY FROM TENNESSEE FOR my jaw dropped. it looks stunning on her, and they could've found it so much faster if she hadnt been sidetrackecd by 4 dresses she hated. why not try the two you liked first, and if neither of them were the one, then opt for plan c.
I'm glad we haven't seen this designer around in the later seasons, he was just awful! The consultant didn't want him around either. Such a prick.
Prick is the perfect word i think đ€Ł
The designer is so disrespectful oh my, it would have been me I would have kick this man real quick!
i do understand when a designer has a dress and sees a bride and thinks their dress would look amazing on them but thatâs not what that was đ
I got goosebumps when the first bride walked out in that last dress! Am glad you didn't settle! Girl you're beautiful! I pray for endless love and a lifetime of togetherness with you and your hubby. ....may God bless your marriage. Both brides are gorgeous! Love both dresses.
Someone at Klienfeld's should have intervened and stopped that designer. Klienfeld's let this designer ruin this poor girls appointment. Not to mention how creepy he was.
They did intervene.
Well it is all for the show, they planned this, the bride and her family are paid to appear on TV, she can rebook
@@susellis493 way too late, in my opinion
@@jemmaj2919 I am glad you replied. I was going to say, we don't know that for sure. People really don't know. But I didn't want to look stupid, more than I do, so I googled it. Why I haven't googled before now is beyond me. I am normally a research junkie.
Anyway, SYTD admits that it is partially scripted. Now, I don't know if I can enjoy the show anymore.
"I don't know"
"You DO know. You want me to say it? NO!"
The sales consultants need to step in for this polite girl, he's being way too pushy. I would have taken my ball and gone home đ
That dress she picked out look great and she was so sweet to that guy bless her heart.
That was an amazing shot they got of Henry Roth in the background, scheming. đ
Seriously! He was literally tenting his fingers. All he was missing was a Persian lap cat.
Keasha is the best. I enjoyed seeing her here and on an episode of her own show years ago. She always knows what a bride wants :)
Just me who finds this whole âpushy designerâ thing staged? Itâs so unprofessional I can only imagine itâs staged for drama. Not unheard of on this show lol.
I mean she came in with 2 pictures of specific designs she was looking for at the right at the beginning, so to keep putting her in the designer's dresses - that looked nothing like her original 2 pictures - didn't make any sense.
It didn't come across as staged so much as it came across that the designer was too-determined to have a bride choose one of his dresses on camera. It was probably staged in the sense that the show made sure that a plus-size bride appeared on the same day the designer of plus-size dresses appeared, though I don't believe production encouraged the designer to be so pushy.
He is awful
It was definitely staged, the guy pops up as a villain to do everything opposite of what the bride wanted. It was for the drama.
We can only hope . . .
I'm so uncomfortable with that designer omg
The designer was so pushy. He needed to back off.
Well done that last frock looked stunning. You look fabulous.
The designer was a pushy annoying individual..
The bridal assistant did a great job saying Stop to the designer.
Australia â€ïž
That was not the best way to highlight that designer. The bride looks beautiful !
And look at his face, offended that she doesn't like his designs. This isn't about him!
Designer: "It's not about my ego..." EVERYONE: "Then f*ck off, dude! Go away!"
đđđđđđđ
This girl was totally derailed. She came in knowing exactly what she wanted. Really made it much harder then it had to be.
The designer was definitely intimidating her. I am glad to see that she was not a push over. She picked the perfect dress.
I love that second girl's dress. It flattered her so lovely! With all the lace it was so lacy and pretty.
It's so funny how he was lurking in the background đ
Not funny to me but very creepy.
@@joycejohnson7640 Personal taste, I guess.
He didn't get his feelings hurt. He's a professional and she's not the only one out there buying his designs I'm sure!
Oh man I miss seeing Keasha on SYTTD. I believe she retired from Kleinfeld a while ago, and she was on other SYTTD shows outside NY.
The designer pretty much ruined her appointment after she came all the way from Tennessee. I think the crew and the store and even Keisha should have stepped in.
What a nice kind bride.
Don't want to be rude but that designers dresses were awful. Her 2nd gown choice was perfect, she looked lovely!
âStep On Toesâ ⊠itâs your wedding đđ
I love the way the designer complimented her at the end
That last dress wow she looks Amazing.congrats designer I would not like him around if am ever shopping for my dressđ€Ł
The designer was sooo pushy and overall just plain annoying. I'm so glad she got the dress she liked because it looks great on her!
Best quote: "She looked like an apple with lace" re the first dress. LOL
She chose the right dress. She looked beautiful.
Perhaps in the minority here, but I honestly felt the designer's heart was in the right place and he genuinely wanted to help - felt like he tried to offer her a wide range of styles, but I don't think he realized that she had already picked out a dress that she really wanted to try on and he was approaching her with the thought that she didn't know what she was looking for.
no he just wanted money
But thatâs not his job, itâs the consultantâs. The designer kept saying âwe have to find her the right dressâ as if it was his job to do just that. It would have been different if the bride had come in specifically to purchase a Henry Roth gown (Pnina does that all the time, consulting with brides who want her HER designs and her designs only.) He should have left her alone because it just makes him look rude and greedy. He even said at the end âItâs not my gown but you look gorgeous.â UmâŠis the qualifier needed? She doesnât need to feel guilty about not buying one of his gowns for HER wedding. She looked beautiful period.
How dare a designer overrun an appointment! I agree with the previous comment that if a bride doesnât like one of your designs after 2, move on. I LOVE the dress she picked! She looks stunning!!đ
All the other dresses looked awful on her. The one she chose made her look so slim and elegant, as if she was a totally different shape! Excellent choice.
Not everybody is trying to look slim love.
The one she picked is the one!!!đđCongratulations.đđđ
Well done to her , that dress she chose looks so much better than the others, beautiful â€
The designer needs to back off and give the bride some space. His constant popping in the dressing room made me uncomfortable and stressed, I can imagine how the bride felt. It's enough stress and pressure for the bride without having a designer so desperate to make a sale. Way too pushy!!!
I am glad Keasha said NO to the designer âŁ
OMG! The dress she chose at was made for her. She looks so cute, perfect for her.
that last dress was the best one for her! she looked beautiful in it.
Both brides are so sweet. I wish them very happy marriages!
OMG, if the man was a lawyer he'd be an ambulance chaser! I just don't know how someone could be so oblivious to how pushy and obnoxious he was being. He was just determined that she HAD to buy one of HIS dresses. I'm just dumbfounded both at him and the Kleinfeld staff for letting him do this!
he wants the money đ°đđđ
Ugh, "Say No to Mark Roth." He was so pushy to that poor bride who clearly was not into his designs. No bride should be put under such uncomfortable pressure! I think he was just hogging airtime to try to get some publicity for himself. I was so grateful that the bridal consultant finally shut him down. Shame on him! But I was thrilled that the bride finally got to try on that second gown that she came for--she was absolutely gorgeous in it! A true Queen of her own Life--she clearly knows herself and what she wants--I am always so happy, happy, happy to see that in any woman. And that second bride looked so lovely in her chosen gown! However, I thought that her wedding planner was less than kind and/or supportive. He was giving backhanded compliments left and right, and seemed more into shaming and blaming than in finding solutions. Also, what was up with giving him more airtime than the bride? We're here to see the brides, not anybody else (well, except for maybe Randy...). Not the best-edited clip. Even so, I adore watching, "Yes to the Dress!"
That man stressed me so bad! Ugh. Canât imagine trying to shop for thousands of dollars worth of dress under that hard sell!
Her bridal consultant should have put a stop to it and also should have, later informed management of the designer harassing the customer during her appointment
The consultant handled it. Not everyone's a 'Karen'.
@@susellis493 Karen is so way over used. It simply was a designer who should have been told thank you but I have my choices picked out.
@@jerriecook6908 I agree, Jerrie, everyone I've ever known named Karen has actually been a very sweet person. I used it as a short form of suhgesting not everything should be escalated to a manager, especially when someone is trying to help, but you're right that it's not a nice term for complaining/ escalating/ bad behaviour. I find all the reactions to that designer far worse than his behaviour. He backed off as soon as the consultant said, "No". I'd love his help if it was me, at least he participated. Dress shopping should be fun.
Learning to say "No" can be so freeing.
She's engaged to Ed Sheeran's doppelgÀnger! The designer needed to butt out. I'm a Southern gal, too, but when it's time to be direct, it's time to be direct and state the obvious. I wish the Kleinfeld staff had told him to back off. Glad she found her dress and didn't leave empty handed. Beautiful gown, beautiful bride!
He was literally lurking everywhere đ. Heâs in the background of most of the shots. I thought she was going to have to file for an order of protection
Itâs in away he was pointing to how at time the bridal appointment is hijacked by her entourage and prevent the work of bridal assistant to proceed!
bless her good heart for being so gracious
I remember this episode! I remember laughing at the designer! Like bro!
I remember Kesha from years ago! Did I miss this episode? I love Kesha.
Two gorgeous brides đđ
You only get 2 hours, he is wasting her time. What a creeper.
I cheer For Luna's self-acceptance. She said "I don't love my size now, but it's what I have." Great lesson in self-acceptance. I'm trying to accept being older with it's limitations, and I appreciate that lesson.
I actually really loved the first dress the designer asked her to try, but I agree that he pushed too hard in his excitement. I'm glad her family and Keasha were able to help her stand up for herself and get the dress she wanted. She looked fabulous in her choice!
The lady working for Kleinfeld should have told the designer politely to just not bring any more dresses.
She looks so beautiful in that gown Iâm glad she went with what she wanted
Both dresses featured are gorgeous
I guess the consultants have to be careful of the designer's ego, but she should have insisted the bride try on the bride's pick before all the designer's
That designer totally hijacked her appointment, & that wasnât fair. I felt really sorry for her, especially as all the dresses were ugly. But she looked completely amazing in the dress she did choose. I can imagine that on her wedding day she looked absolutely stunning!!!
She picked the right dress and looks glorious
She looks beautiful in the dress she chose!
I canât believe the shop let him push his way into the appointment like that. He was so rude.
the dress she picked is stunning!! she looks incredible!!
Designers present I feel most times put the pressure on a Bride to say yes, glad she didnât pick his dress.
absolute shame on kleinfeld's for not keeping their designers under control. the cameraman knew what was up, look at how they framed all those shots of henry just LEERING at her like a hyena waiting for the lions to leave a carcass. he absolutely did not have good intentions, he just wanted to sell his new dresses whether they suited her or not. also: his taste is bad and he should feel bad.
Yes, the way that designer was lurking was sooooo creepy!
I think itâs staged. It was ridiculous.
Wow! This is an old show, Kesha hasnât been on this show for many years, she even had her own show!
I was just thinking I havenât seen her in a long time. Sheâs great.
covid hit the show hard so they've had to resort to recycling content until they can get back up to speed.

What a beautiful choice for the first brideâŁïžâŁïžâŁïž
I wonder if he planned to show up in this Episode to Promote his designs? If yes he clearly failed just due to his annoying personality.
As he said âit is not about his egoâ but he really did not mean it.
The designer is disgusting And the consultant should have shut that shit down immediately. If he could read her mind he should BUZZ OFF
