Brother, can I remove scrolling bullon or maybe led panel and transfer them from original SW to yoke to make ambient light arond the buttons work? Any ideas for workaround?

Can you install this on an older Model Y? Mine was built in 2020, before the heated steering wheel was added. This is the most affordable and best looking one I've seen yet.

Is is necessary to put the whole trim with the buttons and so on to the yoke ? Or can I buy a yoke that is ready to install ? What is with papers or documents with the yoke that allows me to use it ?
The trim with the buttons part of the yoke for the Model 3/Y, you won't have to take anything apart on it, unless your replace the airbag cover.
I have had this in white for over a year; the horn part will start showing the Tesla ‘T’ after you use the horn for a while underneath the embossed ‘T-E-S-L-A’ part unfortunately

Shiva Bro! Does it by default comes with all fitted and we just need to swap with the airbag cover if we decided to replace with tesla word logo?
Bro, if you have a heated steering wheel, you will need to remove some of the existing components and swap it with this new one. They also recommend removing the control unit (bottom V corner) ECU from your OEM wheel and put it on the new one. Other than that, the buttons and everything else is pre-installed. Thanks.
Wow! I have Heated steering and I thought its just a swap based on your video..Since, I saw your yoke came with Oem roller installed and just plugging in required while swapping.

I know it sounds stupid, i have model 3 2020 and I know it doesn't support the heated steering wheel function, i just want to know if this yoke steering adds support for the heating function or not
I mean if it's possible to make the car understand that it can heat the steering wheel now
Unfortunately it cannot. It needs an input from the car to use the high voltage battery to heat up the wheel.
If it can work for Knight rider it can work for me

How did you get that airbag cover? I just ordered mine today, but my Tesla word logo has stitching on it unlike yours.
I just went to the Hansshow website and it gives me the option for Tesla Word Logo and it doesn't look like it has stitching. Did you get it in a different color?

Did you try from both sides? Sometime the spring gets stuck and may require Tesla to cut it our basically. Hope that is not the case with yours.
We need a grey scale plaid symbol for out model y performance with the refreshed S style add ons like the drivers hud and this yoke.😁

I heard that it is necessary to install the trim with the wheels from the original steering wheel, because the wheels are coded. Isn’t it ???
Yes, it is highly recommended to install the original trim as I got an error when I put the car in service mode. However, it fixed on its own with the next Tesla software update. Thanks.

@@clausdieterl It is recommended you convert to original part but in my case, the error went away after Tesla software update. Hansshow says to replace it with OEM part.

Its not safe for driving when you put your hands down straight, if somthing happen you cannot control easily like round steering.

It is actually pretty comfortable, takes a few hours to get used to.
I spent $700 to Tesla to replace my yoke with a round wheel after trying to live with the yoke for 6 months. Why would anyone want to “get used to” a half a steering wheel. It’s just silly.

Bolt. Not "screw". Huge difference and a little grammar mistake like that has a HUGE impact on the perception of your intelligence!
