Jenifer Jessica Martínez Fernández, better known as India Martínez was born in Córdoba, Andalusia, Spain on October 13, 1985, is a Spanish singer.
In 2001, as a result of his participation in a taranto and taranta contest and in the 1st Entre Quejíos y Pitas Flamenco Contest held in San José (Almería), he won the award for best performance and the special audience award.
In 2004 he released his first album "Azulejos de lunares". This first disc contained interpretations with various musical modifications of the classic boleros and tangos of José María Cortina.
In 2013, his album "Camino de la Buena Luck" was released, and once again it achieved a gold record.
In 2014, his latest release "Dual" compiles duets with national and international artists such as David Bisbal with "I forgot to breathe", Enrique Iglesias with "Loco" or Abel Pintos with "Corazón hambriento".
In 2016, he released his seventh album entitled "I tell you a secret", with a collaboration with the singer Prince Royce, in which the song "Gris", which was placed at number 1 of the best sellers in Spain in its first week.
On October 25 of that year, he released "Palmeras" his eighth studio album, with the first broadcast single "La Gitana"
On February 28, 2017, she was awarded the Andalusian Medal.
In 2015 he won the Goya for the best song for the film El Niño, a film directed by Daniel Monzón
He has released eight studio albums.

A ver en Andalucía llevamos muchos años fusionando el flamenco,si quieres escuchar fusión antigua de flamenco,escucha a Triana abre la puerta,de los años 70,la India canta balada flamenca,en cuanto al cajón escucha al piraña es de lo mejor y Paco de Lucía se lo llevo en cuanto lo escucho
