La Ley was a Chilean rock and pop band formed in 1987 at the initiative of keyboardist and guitarist Andrés Bobe and his friend, keyboardist Rodrigo Aboitiz, thus initiating a new project, which would later be joined by Beto Cuevas, Mauricio Claveria, Luciano Rojas and Pedro Frugone (who entered after the death of Andrés Bobe).
Bobe and Aboitiz meet Carlos Fonseca, a music producer on the Chilean scene and in charge of making possible the careers of groups such as Los Prisioneros, Aparato Raro, and Nadie, among others, and in 1988 they manage to record an EP cassette for EMI, entitled La Ley, which contained six songs, three remixes and an instrumental.
Initially, La Ley had the aspiration to be a techno music group, having clear influences from British new wave bands such as Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, The Cure and The Smiths.
In the fall of 1992, La Ley begins to record the album titled with the same name as the band: La Ley. The album comes out in 1993, selling 15,000 copies on the first day. to the MTV awards as best Latin video.
Given the success of La Ley, the organizers of the Viña del Mar International Song Festival invite the group for the first time
Invisible went on sale in July 1995, and managed to give them international fame, defining the future style of La Ley and placing five singles on the radio: "El duelo", "Día Cero", "Cielo Market", " Hombre" and "dual 1-800". The success of this album (one million copies sold), outsold Soda Stereo's Sueño Stereo album, which had been released on the same dates.
In 2000, bassist Archie Frugone, brother of Pedro Frugone, joined the group and they were invited by the MTV network to perform an acoustic session called La Ley MTV Unplugged. This album is the best-selling with a million and a half copies and receives Gold and Platinum Records throughout the American continent, in addition to achieving the "Best Vocal Album by a Rock Group" award, two MTV Awards Latin America, "Best Rock Artist" and "Best Group of the Year", and an ASCAP award for Beto Cuevas, as composer for "Mentira"

En una entrevista Beto confesó que no sabía que Ely tendría ese tipo de participación, de hecho en el video se ve como se sonrie sorprendido

Amplagued de la ley en MTV. el grupo chileno que habrio MTV en LATAM fue los prisioneros sudamerican Rocket. No recuerdo el año pero fue su apertura a Latinoamérica del canal MTV music. Muy lindo el dibujo de ely y esta el video de ellos hablando de eso y como lo afrontaron. Y las entrevistas.

Yo igual al igual que el de Aleste hay un limite y otros temas.
Recién veo tus videos y la verdad es que la forma en que te expresas, das tus comentarios tanto técnicos como tus propias interpretaciones, emociones, etc es un agrado verlo, espero sigas subiendo reacciones Master. Me gustaría que reaccionaras si es posible a Carla Morrison su tema disfruto, un abrazo.
me impresiona un poco que la música Chilena llegue tan tarde al resto del mundo, nosotros siempre sabemos de lso cantantes destacados de los diferentes países , quizá un poco menos de salsa y la música caribeña que aunque llegaba no era consumida masivamente.

Me quedo con la versión original no opina lo mismo
Jaja nunca me gustó esta versión, me quedo con la original todo el rato, la que oí en la radio, la voz de la mujer me molesta, porque está donde no tiene que estar. Para los que no son de Chile, entiendo que les guste más esta versión.
Su voz de ella le da un toque diferente excelente...
