Man Dem lmao
Man Dem Lol! True!
Wow!!! Yeah 👍great observation!!
I love it (pause)
Dude! It even goes from east coast to west coast!
They look like they don't wanna be there
youtube took out the mystery of radio lol
***** *They're there because Eminem is in New York, Em was making the rounds in NY and HOT 97 wanted Eminem there, but Eminem declined and sent his minions there instead.*
IhateUrFuckinFace lol truuuuuuuuue
KING VINYLZ 'cause who likes Ebro??
Matt M true
Meek mill rap like he just stepped on a lego block.
***** lmao
Lmfaoo
Comment of the year.
Adam Jones ''Copy and Paste'' of the year.
***** LMAO!!! You're wrong man! My drink flew out my nose!!!
Meek Mill rap like he ordering fast food from the passenger seat.
4 years later I am here and crackin up 😂😂😂
I busted out laughing 😂 best comment frfr
🤣🤣🤣
yooo, lol at the way they sittin. they sorted from lightskin to darkskin
😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Nooooo
Brooo 😂😂😂😂
The realest moment in this is when Joe says "Yall media clowns never give a fuck about lyricism anyway!" soo soo true!
Then he retired from rap and started working for the media himself
Funny how things change
He is a media clown
@@kevin084life but the difference is he actually talks about lyrical niggas on his pod
@@1937MkSo there are ‘media clowns’ that care about lyricism. He's one of them.
I love Royce interviews. he's always happy to say he's sober and im proud of him for it
Is Hot 97 on a budget or something? GET MORE MICS!
kwaku s no shit their on a budget, money's not infinite
Dean Allen *they're
kwaku s correcting his grammar doesnt make ur comment look less stupid
antony Aristyl *your
Lol fools
If Drake ain't write Lord Knows, Tuscan Leather or 5am I'd go through about a 3-4 day depression.
He wrote all his music even the old stuff that may have Co-Writers but for IYRTITL he really had Co-Writers which is what Q.Miller was
Meek just blew that shit up for none not even properly knowing who Q.Miller was...
He got some good songs though
whether he wrote those or not he's trash
702prodigy your opinion
Taio Smalls 3-4 years
Taio Smalls he didn't write Lord Knows sorry
as soon as they start talking about Drake...Budden takes the mic😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is the best lyrical collective in hiphop.
LOL...Your kidding right?!
WARREN BUCKET Name a better collective of current emcees who value the craft and put lyricism first.
Go ahead.
Tommy Gunz, II Nowhere close. I have nothing but love for TDE and Odd Future, but a couple things to consider:
1) They're not groups. They're crews/label mates
2) Neither one of those organizations have an emcee seasoned enough to go bar-for-bar. You can make an argument for Kendrick, but most of his multis and delivery draw from Kxng Crooked (Crooked I).
Tommy Gunz, II Point taken. I didn't realize I didn't mention 'group.' My bad.
I don't know if I would say Q is as nice as Kendrick, though. He's my favorite, musically, because I can just vibe to it. I think I would give it Jay Rock as the #2.
Tommy Gunz, II Yo have you seen that video of Migos performing Hanna Montana to an orchestra? I... I liked it. lol
Joes right if I find out Drake didn't write 9am in dallas, or 5am in Toronto then as a drake fan i'm crushed but idgaf if he didn't write 10 bands i don't hold that in high regard
EazyyMuthuLovinnE Yes, and Lord Knows too he snapped on that
Lauren UK & look what youve done lol
Vonya Denise look whats youve done is super personal song if i find out drake didnt write that im never gonna listen to him again or this generation
Q.Miller really only Co-Wrote for a couple songs on IYRTITL & R.I.C.O he didn't ghostwrite but he is a Co-Writer but those songs like 6am in Dallas 5am in Toronto Lord Knows basically any songs from his last album to his really old music is all Drake music is written by him..ghostwriters don't get credited on albums or mixtapes reason why their called ghostwriters
***** Quentin wrote 10 bands. Drake changed a couple lines that's it. Ghost writers do get credit on mixtapes and albums you can Google that.
Joe budden “I just stfu when Royce is around” hahaha
Meek just jealous because word on the street is Drake bodied him on his own song... which is the best song on his album.
No he didnt body NOBODY and that song is ass... stop it
J Cruz best song on the AVERAGE over hyped record as a whole.
KontryBoy706 lord knows & ambitionz stood out to me... everything else was hit or miss
J Cruz most of it was a miss to me. How it sold so much and was #1 is a mystery to me. .... the Barbz lol
KontryBoy706 LMAO ... When it's Meek saying that all people jump on him ... But when Kendrick say that nobody open his damn fucking mouth ...
When kendrick said that verse on king kunta I'm pretty sure he knew drake didn't write some of his raps because that isn't a coincidence that kendrick mentioned that.
That shit just clicked for me not two hours ago. Listening to the song, got to that part and it was like I had a fucking epiphany
" yea im not getting no butt job " lmfaoooo at the ending
Big radio station like Hot97 cant supply a mic for everybody?
Coming back to this interview six years later you can really tell that there were issues in the group. Now knowing what we know now when hearing the stories that were being told to take place during this time we know that Joe really didn’t want to have anything to do with the group anymore at all let alone wrapping, we know that the other three members really wanted to finish the album but they were waiting on Joe, Crooked and Joell knew that it was probably over and they can’t figure out why Joe doesn’t want to record anymore and Royce is just sitting there optimistic.
19:37 Joell literally took the mic away from the host. LOL
I loved Joe Budden getting pissed exposing these clowns cause they don't give a shit about lyrical content
Ikr!! Its funny how ppl all of a sudden wana discuss lyrics after meek's twitter rant foh yall never gave af why yall do now...because he insulted they're precious drake? Gtfoh
+jared Barksdale you listen to what Joe and Joel said at the very end?? "I ain't getting no butt job". Y'all trying to pretend your favorites ain't taking it in the ass for that fame!!! These dudes gets bombarded in your faces!!! You're programmed who to like!!! Narrow choices!!! Likes reps and dems!!!!
If we gone talk about drake and rap in general today, one of the main problems is content. There is no substance in the music, no point, no meaning/message. It's all part anthems and dope beats.
Paul Sotenko Do you fools listen to music or do you just skim through it?
Paul Sotenko bleeeehhhh. (Message)
You only listen to radio.
Paul Sotenko This is such a dumbass comment that you gotta be trolling. There's a difference between radio ht singles and album tracks
Delfiffer2 exactlyyy. i cant tell you the last time i listened to the radio. nothing but trashy, mainstream bullshit. nobody cares about lyrics anymore. all they care about it beats. and to be honest, thats so sad. im only 16, and i love old school, classic hip hop and i am very picky with my music. i just feel that this whole music stage of "trappin" has to end soon. its been going on for too long. and when it does, will be the day i turn on my radio again.
Royce is so professional. It's funny hearing him compared to Joe
Joe - "I love that song".
Rosenberg - "We know, you play it on the way to Times Square".
Shit had me rolling.
Very Interesting Conversation.. I'm glad they brought these guys in out of everyone to discuss this.
Started out slow but this interview got pretty good... I appreciate these guys being around especially in today's climate
Ebro got sweet when Joe called him him and the rest of the media out about lyricism. Why Joe remains top in my book, lmao
"I'M NOT GETTING A BUTT JOB"
#Dawg I just laugh so hard, comedic timing on-point!
The algorithms are making all these videos pop up for me and bringing back all the pain
Me too, yo this interview is crazy now lmao, u catch the crooked toddler comment? I'm peeping body language it's tension in there
@@joeadkins338 bruh alllll the videos and interviews are back on my timeline. Yeah I peeped lol
Drake convo starts at 7:36
***** :-) Happy to do it.
Certain thank you cuz it was getting painful to watch
Certain THANKS mane u the best
Certain you are the real MVP my friend.
You have received my blessings
Idk wtf yall talking bout. Shit started slow but picked up. Great interview
This is actually a really good interview. We need more discussion like this.
Dope Interview!!!!
Lolz Joell ends the interview in an epic way.....fucking hilarious!
Glad to see that there's one place we can find actually hip hop being promoted. Salute from cali
This was a dope interview, copping that Southpaw soundtrack and I can't wait for that Slaughterhouse to drop (fuck all that Drake & Meek Mill drama)
i genuinely enjoyed this interview, can't wait for glass house album #HouseGang
Ok it gets better like 8 or 9 minutes in
CleverPresents ITS PERFECT AT 30:00
MsNoNuts LMBOOOO! The shade in this comment.
MsNoNuts lol
CleverPresents thank you
CleverPresents thank you. i was sleep over here.
Is it just me or am I the only one who sees r.i.c.o was never Meeks song first, it was produced by drakes producer, and drakes verse was first, meek is mad that Drake gave him a record for the album that was written by someone else
U right. Drake give da song to Meek then the guy who wrote Drakes verse came to Meek for his cut of da money, wen he found out it was Meeks album.
Yea, that's why meek is mad. When the dude who wrote drakes verse came for his part of the check, drake really could have gotten meek sued. Not cool.
StupidityIs NotHumanNature I bet there was a deal, and meek had to put it on his album. If you want nicki on there you gotta put drake on there. And the song sounded like a left over from if youre reading this
Exactly. Drake gives away a lot of tracks he features on.
Christopher Bookert nope. He don't write his own shit
I really appreciated this discussion.
Theses guys are so honest! Respect!
Good interview
"there's really some wack dudes though, that are wack though" crooked I couldn't have said that any better.
BUDDEN is hilarious 😂😂😂👌🏾😂😂
Great episode real rap convo #Salute
I hope it works out for Slaughterhouse this time because they stay gettin' overlooked. Always underperformed.
Well hello 4 years later. Slaughterhouse slaughtered themselves.
This interview and mad podcasts showed exactly how joe felt about shady without saying a word.....he been tellin us.......
This was a really good interview
#housegang#salute im cant wait for the next album
I feel like you can't rank which member of slaughterhouse is better than the other, they all being different things to the game. Crooked has the super lyrical gangsta rap shit, Joe has the super introspective personal shit and he's really blunt, Joell brings the New York sound which is the essence of Hip Hop, Royce has the amazing flow and of course they all are lyrical.
Why is Slaughterhouse talking about Drake for 30 minutes when they got like 6 albums to promote? Crazy.
Lmaooo Crooked I has me dying bruh but I definitely agree with this whole interview
Nice to see a chill interview where you don't have to lound the fuck out loud all the time where you can just be real and relax.. nice one
Imagine if Eminem didn't write his own lyrics. Let that sink in.
Imagine if any of the GREATS or The G.O.A.T.S of hip hop were merely just vocalists to other peoples lyrics. Real Rap fans know real rap artists would never disrespect the art like that.
dr dre and snoop dogg?
i wish eminem didnt write his lyrics... and just shut his mouth 😂
25:40 joell asleep with his eyes open lmao
lmao fuckin love these guys.. interview started off slow but it got hilarious and entertaining pretty quickly.
Dope sit down
Why is half of this fucking interview about drake? If I was slaughter house I would be pissed
lt sounds like it's bout Drake but it's more bout lyricism that's why they also playing along coz they are lyricists
The game turned into the Drake show dog
Cause it's the Big Topic in Hip Hop right now
+skyizdalimit6539 It also didn't seem like they wanted to talk about there album.
Slaughterhouse is sick, but damn they talk less than everyone in G-Unit when they really call 50 to do an interview and he brings the crew 😂
That was the best ending to any interview ive seen before. Summed up a 20 minute portion of the interview in 4 seconds flat.
These dudes don't need a hit, they are established, no one can say they're wack, even if they lose a rap battle, they are building themselves as lyrical pillars.
The fact that they didn't mention how Jay Z took lyrics from alot of artists as well
Exactly!
Not even the same, not even close.
True when I heard he didn't sign Kanye West & he only kept him to keep him hot producing
gg ll shut your dumb ass up
Zico Money bitch ghostwriting isn’t the same as sampling
killas dope track as always
nice interview
Joey said it best.....nobody cared about lyrics until this popped off, so why complain/debate it now?? Real lyricists not named kendrick cant get a spin on the radio, dont get many looks on awards, so whats the big deal?? We all kno hip hop aint mainstream anyway
lol, around 20:15 Joe Budden reality checks Ebro. Well done :)
"I'm not getting no butt job" lmao! 😂
That was hilarious @ the end...
Kinda disappointed they're co-signing this Drake shit, I'm glad Crooked spoke his mind
The game is going to into the dirt
***** Crooked and Budden said it best at 23:20 . You cant state your opinion on other artists or you're labeled a hater. Look at what they're trying to do to Meek. Meek stated facts and he's being called a hater, jealous, and people bringing up net worth and record sales like that has to do anything with somebody writing your rhymes.
jj305456 this all happened because Cuz drake didn't retweet his album and couldn't make it to a homecoming concert.
jj305456 Meek didn't state facts, they are discrediting his whole career based on 1 or 2 songs that he referenced.
Lauren UK actually the weeknd wrote half of take care look it up
Watched the whole interview and still not sure what Slaughterhouse is promoting
devious141 shiddd hip hop lol
Now...5 yrs later...you finally know? 😏😅😜
back to back nice
That was dope
07:40 for drake and meek. Your welcome.
Crooked kept it real, especially at 18:33
that ending tho lmfaooooooooo
yo ebro why you sooo real lol!!! thats why i love hot 97 with ebro/rosen/laura cuz of the realness. 105 is powerful with there interviews but man id only do a hot 97 interview with you first if we ever mad it. much respect
We so used to weak bars that we don't even notice it. Mainstream is all about the innovated format to increase profit. Many industry cats lack so much substance in their lyrics yet they have compelling production and marketing.
I Agree
Agreed
this needs to be at the top
#facts
+Zeefu M WORD IS BOND!
this album STILL not out! 2017
very interesting interview
House ganggg! Cant wait for that new album
around 19:40 got real Joe called him a media clown lol. that's how u do it in there face
He put Meek in the same category with K. Dot, J. Cole, Slaughterhouse and King Los................. Smh.
Insightful video
YAOWA so excited
WORD ROYCE AT THE END I AIN'T GETTING NO BUTT JOB LOL I LOVE LYRICS SO KEEP IT GOING
SchoolOfDaGiftedTV That was Joell Ortiz, not Royce.
MDK22420 YOUR RIGHT I MIGHT OF BEEN ON A BIT BUZZED WHEN I 1ST WATCHED IT
That kind of sealed the deal for me.. I am now a believer. Pay attention fellas!! Joel cool as fuck for saying that.
couldnt go past 5 minutes. hard trying to stay interested in a interview thats this quiet with so many ppl
They start talking a lot more towards the middle of the interview. Should watch it, fairly interesting discussion on the state of hip hop today.
I agree I'm at 2 minutes it's boring
I'm confused, what do ya''ll expect to happen? Shouting and mad laughing and just non stop yapping? I enjoyed every second of this, because I have an interest in hip-hop, and I think these guys POV on rap is real. Now answer my first question.
U got skip to like the last 10 min
This is like 8 am
when they said "9am in Dallas" i was like....CZcams that ! sick track
This is a good interview I love to hear men just talk, not yell, not fight, just share ideas back and forth this is so sexy.
... Lupe Fiasco..... ? What about him.
Jorian Gavalda boy you stupid. Get informed and do some research and know that He's one of the best of this generation.
BigBangTheory92 Word.
Exactly what I thought bruh. He really had meek in that list tho nd not lupe. Idc what anybody say Lupe is absolutely shittin on meek lyrically
jared Barksdale hellz yes. Definitely
gaberod Thank you, tetsuo and youth is (in my opinion) one of the best albums in a minute). That shit still hasn't gotten old to me. Don't think it ever will
Meek mill a lyricist??? I beg to differ. . . . .
FcBarcelonaKid you havent listened
The info on one of those albums tho is classic he could tour off that alone lol
12:03 Joel's Grin 😂😂
Looking at this interview a lot differently in 2018
If this sentence irritated you, You'll know what I'm talking about xD
"That project, With the other guy"
xD
Its funny...reading these comments i see a whoooole lot of ppl turned the interview off less than 5 mins in. Not realizing it got a whooole lot better. But thats kind of how society and rap music most definitely is now. Ppl dont want to listen or open their minds and let something develope. Hence the extreme amount of simple whack rap music nowadays. Ppl just want an easy beat n catchy chorus to listen to because it requires lil effort. Letting an interview develope n progress is like listening to a dopr lyricist who builds a song an album a story. Ppl want everything quick now and dont want to watch things grown and bloom.
last comment of the interview was the best one. "Im not getting a butt job" gold
Fuckn loved the interview real things were talkd about hip hop
Anyone else notice that they're lined up by shade/darkness, even Rosenberg sat in the right spot :)hahaha. Not sure if it was a random thing or they did it on purpose. Much love Slaughterhouse!
19:57-20:14 Buddens Speaks The Realness... #OverAndDone
For the first time ever lol
Hilarious! Much love slaughterhouse, we can't wait for that album!!!
"Man, I ain't getting no butt job" - J Ortiz. hahahahhaha
We need a Hiphop Council like Star suggested...ASAP! Too much bullshit being allowed these days
