    Great guide. To make it simpler you don't NEED to disconnect the door handle cable, just rest the door panel in place. (I had it rest on a bucket). Second, on a vehicle without Nav, to enter diagnostic mode, the button sequence is Back+Menu+Audio.

    2012 EX-L. Your video was exactly what I needed. The little differences in my model (no camera, no need to detach the handle cables, etc) than yours were irrelevant, and got it done in 10 min. Thank you.

    The video worked quite well. The focus is a bit off when it gets to the stage where cables are disconnected, but I was able to work through that myself. The video was quite clear at the stage where the cables were reconnected.
    Thanks!

    THANK YOU! for this video! I had to replace the mirror on my wife's 2015 Honda. This video was clear and concise. I didn't have the funky curved pliers to disconnect the door lock cable so I just had my wife hold the door panel while I swapped out the mirror. ;)

    Great video. Before I put the door panel back on, I wanted to make sure the mirror worked, so I plugged in just the white connector, but it didn't work. ?? I had to plug in the power window connector also and THEN it worked. Apparently that completes the circuit. Thanks!

    Thank you guys for a very straightforward video, it worked great on my 2013 Odyssey! The only thing I had that was different was there was a plastic clip that held the wiring to the mirror onto the body of the door. I simply clipped it. Thank you also to Honda for making such a simple yet tight and easy to work on machine!

    Thanks! I couldn't have done it without this video! We accidentally got a mirror without the camera, but we didn't use it much anyway, and it was cheaper. And it worked all the same.

    Instead of painting this, could I remove the original Honda silver housing cover and replace the one on this TRQ model? The housing cover on my old mirror is fine. It’s the plastic around the glass that is all broken Thank you!

  • @monstaace

    What kind of pliers are those? If I can't find that, what other pliers would work?

  • @JC-pb4db
    @JC-pb4db Před 3 měsíci

    If you are replacing the plastic housing as opposed to the whole mirror, how do you replace the bottom piece, which would be easy if the plug was smaller, but seemingly impossible unless you take all the pins out of the connector.
