- What a great weekend down here in Auckland, New Zealand for the farewell event at Pukekohe Park Raceway. I got to film up and close some real rarities, like the M3 E30 ex-WTCC driven by Brancatelli in 1987, to the Nissan R32 GTR Bathurst (Godzilla) to the 1973 Ford Capri V6 Cosworth.

I love these old BTCC cars … Saturdays watching on World of Sport or Grandstand …
I must admit !!! That TWR Jag at the beginning of clip,, made me mildly moist !!!! In a good way of course …. And then the Moffat racing Pan Am Capri !!!!

That Mondeo: with dry sump, lowered engine block and stand-off 2nd set of injectors. Super trick.

As a Swede I remember Volov S40, and Volvo 85Estate in England when it was time to race in BTCC with Richard Rydell!!

That Mondeo had some kind of sorcery going on with that intake and injectors set up.
I was felt surprised and nostalgic at the same time. I forgot it looked like that, then memories kicked in. What a great car mate
the v6 was clocked over like 45° probably to get it to sit as low and far back as possible

@@racecars.universe im building a race car here in gb ,, classic mini im allways looking at details in cars allready being used asin weld on roll cage being one example ,, you getting in and close up helps
moffat drove many different types of cars successfully the mazda and capri quite different to the big v8 fords.
golly some interesting stuff in there, glad i'm not buying the petrol for the v12 Jaguar....not sure how the Suzuki Baleno got in there and nice to see the Holden Commodore....
The XJS, SD1 & sierra cosworth are monsters! Is that a zackspeed or a RS 3.2/2.6 capri? It’s so beutiful, it doesn’t look real. it’s like it’s been created by a sculptor for a museum.
That Capri is 1 of 3 cars left in the whole world

@@equalevolution5563 I'm sorry I'm not entirely too sure about it as I did not have the chance to speak to the owner and driver. This car will be a future events so I will document more about it in the next incoming weeks
Thinking about it, I’m very sure it’s a 3.2 RS. As the Zackspeed is black & yellow & these types of racers are allways in their original colours.

It's well past time that governments had the balls to declare a 5km NON-RESIDENTIAL ring around all existing race tracks.
When did that happen ? They almost close down Monza because of people living nearby

Sadly soon all combustion cars and trucks including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-(
In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025
on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Car washs will be forbidden too because they are climate killers, now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.!!! (BABVVEN & TEBBVEN & BEFVO laws)!!!!
I have a feeling this electric craze will be over soon, people are realizing it's just a false narrative pushed on us like the C word...
