I have the CoverGirl liquid eyeshadow in Nashville dream. It's a pretty color. I have oily hooded eyelids. Do you recommend a eyeshadow primer first then apply the eyeshadows? I'm trying to find out what is the best way to wear them. I tried it without eyeshadow primer but parts of the eyeshadow came off.
I have super oily eyelids too! Using eyeshadow primer was a game changer for me. I love the Anastasia eyeshadow primer, but the Milani one is good too. I’ll use the primer and then apply shadow and it usually holds up really well. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching. 💖
@@hayleyjbeauty thanks for answering back. I haven't ever tried the Anastasia eyeshadow primer. I have the Ulta beauty matte primer and Mac paint pot. The Ulta beauty is a nice one too if you ever want to try a new eyeshadow primer. Your welcome. I've been enjoying watching your videos especially the lipstick swatch videos. I love blushes and lip products. I have another question after you apply your eyeshadow primer how long do you wait before you apply the liquid eyeshadow? Then do you use your finger to pat the eyeshadow then add more? Also do you use a brush to blend the edges of the liquid eyeshadow?
@@janetparson4995 Of course!! Oooh I’ll have to try the Ulta Primer. I only wait a few seconds after applying and I always set it with a white or cream colored shadow before applying other shadow on top. Good question about the liquid shadow. I feel like I play it by ear. If it looks like it needs to be blended I will blend out the edges with a brush. If not then I’ll just pat the edges with my fingers. Hope that helps! 💖
