    Is it common for the gaskets to wear out over time? I have been trouble shooting my machine and realized it has been putting more coffee to the cup underneath than the two nozzles above. Then finally quit a few days ago to extrude any coffee. All is going into the bottom. I'm planning to replace the two orange gaskets in the back first, is this the correct direction? The unit is 3 years old and probably makes 8-12 shots of espresso a day (~10k shots total)

    • @yt.myworks
      @yt.myworks  Před měsícem

      Hello, yes you have to check all the seals and ideally replace them. These are very important on the support valve. You should also clean everything thoroughly and look for blockages.

  • @repaircafeheldenmaaasbree

    Great video; very instructive!!
    I noticed the big collection of O-ring sizes you have (EPDM and VMQ types) and wondered how you determine what sizes you need? There are many coffeemachine brands/models out there and they all may use different O-ring sizes. What is the best way to come to a collection of sizes (like yours) that covers most machines?

    • @yt.myworks
      @yt.myworks  Před 2 lety

      @RC Peelenmaas there are basically three O-ring sizes (thicknesses) for DeLonghi 1.78 mm, for Jura 1.5 mm and Saeco/Philips 2 mm. Then I order the seals according to the diameter of the installed parts of the respective machine. The large amount of assortment comes about by itself ;-)

    Danke! Nun werde ich leicht an den Sicherheitsschalter kommen, der Mikroschalter bei 3:27 links unten im Bild, der einen schlechten Kontakt macht und immer für nervende Unterbrechungen sorgt, die dann jeweils ein Klopfen und Schlagen nötig machen. Werde ihn wohl einfach überbrücken. * Das ist keine Gefahr, weil er nur die Klappe rechts und die Schublade absichert. * Alternativ könnte ich die Kontakte im Schalter ölen, wenn das Schaltergehäuse durchlässig dafür ist. Ölen mit nichtharzendem, säurefreien Öl, Ölspray, Universalöl, hilft immer gegen Oxidation und den davon bewirkten Übergangswiderstand, bei allen Schaltern, Steckkontakten und Potentiometern.
    * Nachtrag: Den Schalter nur zu überbrücken, statt sein Kontaktproblem zu beheben, war eine schlechte Idee, wie ich zwei Tage später feststellen musste. Bleibt dieser Schalter nämlich dauernd eingeschaltet, stoppt die Maschine nach einer bestimmten Anzahl Portionen (etwa 11) und die Anzeige „Kaffeesatzbehälter voll“ leuchtet. Die Maschine misst gar nicht wie voll der Auffangbehälter ist, sie hat keinen Sensor dafür (wie den kapazitiven beim Wassertank), sie zählt einfach nur die Portionen seit dem letzten Schalteröffnen. Darum zeigt sie auch immer mal wieder bei nicht vollem Behälter „Behälter voll“ an, wenn man den Behälter bei ausgeschalteter Maschine leert, das registriert sie offensichtlich nicht.
    Habe heute den Schalter geöffnet, die Kontakte (waren sauber) geputzt und alles reichlich geölt. Funktioniert nun definitiv wieder.

    I was mesmerized. thanks! So... I have a very odd problem if you have a minute. My machine (philips 3200 fully auto LatteGo) works PERFECTLY.... for the FIRST latte. Then I have to wait 30 minutes or else, for the 2nd latte, it sends the hot water to the brew unit instead of the milk frother/container. and of course the brew unit isn't ready to accept the hot water and the spout isn't linked up with that little cup that comes up to meet it, so water just flies into the brew unit cavity area instead of going to the milk. But if I wait 30 minutes, I guess something cools down?... it works FINE AGAIN. (it always makes hot water or espresso; the only problem is with milk drinks). I've completely taken apart the brew unit, cleaned, greased, new O rings, assembled; I've descaled, etc... The machine works perfectly, but only for ONE latte; then wait 30, then do another latte. Crazy eh? I think something must have a hairline crack and expands and breaks an elec connection while hot...then cools down and the cracked connection comes together again? any ideas? THANKS !

    Hi @myworks, super Video! Ich habe bei unserer knapp 7 Jahre alten und gut gepflegten Maschine das Problem, dass aus dem Warmwasserhahn/Milchschaumdüse seit einiger Zeit immer noch Wasser nachläuft und den Kaffee verwässert. Auch geht durch den Milchschlauch nach dem Cappucinomachen noch Wasser wieder raus. Wenn man während eines der beiden Teile Wasser nachkaufen lässt, das Teil abzieht, dann sieht man, dass aus dem dünnen weißen "Strohhalm" auch Wasser läuft. Von dort eben in den Warmwasserhahn bzw. Milchschäumer. Hast du einen Tipp dafür? Viele Grüße und Danke! Flo

      @yt.myworks  Před 5 měsíci

      Hi Flo, auf Entfernung ist es in der Tat schwierig, eine genaue Diagnose zu stellen. Wenn du ein Philips-Modell ähnlich dem im Video hast, könnte das Magnetventil für das Öffnen und Schließen von Dampf und Warmwasser verantwortlich sein. Es ist möglich, dass dieses Ventil defekt oder verkalkt ist und nicht richtig schließt.

      Hello, open the coffee powder chute and see if enough coffee powder comes out when grinding. It can sometimes happen that the grinder becomes clogged and no more coffee comes out. Hallo myWorks Betrieber, vielleicht kannst Du mir einen Tipp geben: ich besitze eine EP 3550 , also modell ähnlich dem hier gezeigten, nur, statt Panrello Michbehälter. Seit vorgestern reagieren die Tasten nicht mehr. Also Einschalten über den Standby-Button funktioniert, dann folgt das Aufwärmen und Spülen , dann folgt Entkalkungshinweis . Ab hier reagieren die Tasten nicht mehr, auch nicht der Stand-by-button zum Ausschalten. Kaffeebezug ist also nicht möglich. Displayanzeige ist da, das Öffnen der Tresterschulade oder der Serviceklappe verursachen den entspechenden Warnhinweis. Ich habe die Machine nach Deiner wirklich sehr anschaulichen Anleitung geöffnet, gereinigt, konnte aber nichts feststellen, Auch die Steuerplatine hinter den Knöpfen sah unauffällig aus, habe sie aber dennoch mal mit Isopropanol abgepinselt. Leider ohne Erfolg, ebensowenig das Trennen des Gerätes vom Stromnetz über Nacht. Meine Onlinerecherche führte auch nicht zu einem Beitrag, der diesen Feher dokumentiert. Ich fand auch keine Mögichkeit , das Gerät zu resetten, gibt es das etwas?
