Such a great video and nice work. May I ask about the lubricant as the OKS 470 you used is an NFS H2 type which means that it can’t contact food, so, is it okay to use?

SO i am stumbed, i have followed your excellent video and what i am now getting is grounds dumped at the back end of the tray and only hot water coming out of the spout, zero coffee. Any ideas?

Did I fixed the screw too tight or not tight enough so that the coffee leaking out? Thank you!

UWAGA!!! Kupiłem jurę E8 w domu dwie osoby które piją kawę, dokładnie po 3 miesiącach nie można było wyciągnąć szuflady i po chwili urządzenie przestało działać-czarny wyświetlacz. Wysłaliśmy do reklamacji od miłego pana otrzymaliśmy wiadomość że utraciliśmy gwarancję gdyż " Wykonano zero czyszczeń z wymaganych 4 i zignorowano alarm okamienienia i przekroczono o 83 litry" Muszę zaznaczyć iż moja woda nie powoduje osadzania kamienia mam też uzdatniacz na wodnej instalacji który dodatkowo zabezpiecza przed kamieniem. Koszt naprawy Jury 1000 złotych lub odsyłają nienaprawiony sprzęt. Poprosiliśmy o kontakt z przełożonym Miłego Pana który odpisuje na wiadomości i ten sam pracuje na infolinii, poinformowano nas że nie podważą opinii a ich przełożonym jest Pani prezes i ma do nich zaufanie. Mój poprzedni ekspres innej znanej firmy miałem 16 lat i okamieniałem maksymalnie 5 razy w tym czasie

Hatte das Problem dass bei Kaffeezubezug nur sehr wenig flüssigkeit rauskam und die pumpe auch während des bezugs bzw nach mahlvorgang plötzlich leiser wurde. Nach intensiven entkalken kam wieder genug kaffee aber nur sehr dünn/wässrig. Die Kunstoffkugel hatte nur noch 3,5mm durchmesser und habe deshalb mal eine neue bestellt. Kann es tatsächlich sein dass deshalb (zu wenig druck) auch auch der kaffee so dünn ist oder liegt es dann doch am mahlwerk, spindel o.ä.? PS: Brühkolben und Brühgruppe wurden erst vor kurzem getauscht und auch nochmals gereinigt

I was looking for such a video instruction to clean my E8 after 3 years. but now I understand that there is no need to do this for another 2-3 years))) I use cleaning products when the machine recommends. the only thing I would like to change is to make the grind even finer. is this possible other than what can be done with a lever? Hello, I have an ESAM 6600 but it only grinds for 3 seconds. I have run it empty a few times but no change, I'm hoping the grinder and/or PCB aren't broken, but even doing hard resets or encoder resets doesn't make it grind longer. Any ideas? Thanks

Hello, in case of not lubricating the brew unit, is it possible that the mechanic get stuck? In my machine something is blocking the brewing unit so the a loud craxking soun appears and machine is shaking strong

Hey great video, I followed it all but decided to try fixing my current piston instead (following your other video) but now that I’ve put everything back together the machine does nothing, it just flashes the red triangle when I turn it on and nothing else. I checked the diffuser already like it says in the manual but it didn’t help. Any ideas what the problem could be?

Hey, erstmal vielen Dank für die super Videos. Ich habe meine Maschine zu einem Techniker gebracht, nachdem sich der Antrieb der Brüheinheit nicht mehr bewegt hat. Der Antrieb soll laut Techniker für 290€ getauscht werden können. Habe das Teil im Internet für 150€ gefunden. Ist es möglich den Antrieb selbst zu tauschen, lohnt sich eine so teure Reparatur oder sollte man deiner Meinung nach ein neues Gerät kaufen? Danke im Voraus.

Thanks a lot - now I just have to find out the correct position of the mill. BTW: It is a genius trick of SAECO to use Philips screws where you can see them but under the water tank you need a T10 - I didn't see what it was and broke the top. What I need is the correct position or help to get the mill working; I cleaned the mill alone - which was easy - and when I had it put back it would not stop grinding until there was no more coffee in the storage.

The light display on the DIAL of my C5 does not light. The machine works, but I can not see what the DIAL setting is.

OMG!! Now that i've found this video I am so tempted to give at fixing my DeLonghi Magnifica ESAM04.110.S another go. The problem with mine is the fact that the water sounds like its finally blocked somewhere inside as it kind of leaks nor it pours a coffee now. I have descaled it, tried to steam it out and even tried to run the hot water spout in the hope it was trapped air which could of been the cause of the problem but nothing has worked so far. Ive even been brave enough in taking some sections apart to give it a good deep clean but that hasnt worked either. Like yourself i am refusing to throw away what seems to be a good machine nor i like to waste. Shame I cant get you my machine to you so it can be featured on your CZcams channel. hahaha! Apologies for my long "comment" but i thought id reach out thanking you in advance for such detailed video breakdown. Any tips/suggestions on my machine?

This cofe machine makes very delicious coffee. But the design cleaning concept is the biggest fail on earth. It totally destroys the reputation of German high quality. Regarding that this is Siemens and that they have sold this rubbish concept in staggering thousands of machines, it's a big shame in my point of view. Whenever I see the name Siemens I make a big step around it if possible. I'm actually heavily disappointed that German Ingeneering is coming to this point of crap development. There only job was to create a mechanism that can easily cleaned and would allow the cable to move inside freely. But this concept ist just the stunning biggest fail I have witnessed so far. SIEMENS SHOULD STEP PUT FROM THE MARKET if they can't do it better rather than destroying what previous engineers have achieved to get a good reputation in quality, precision, practicality and functionality around the globe. But nonetheless thank you for this Video at least it makes things better what Siemens has badly failed.
