That was awesome poor Harry i bet he was anxious at school all day he should of stayed home for mental health reasons that it would have done him alot of good to see such kit working in his fields. LOL ;) :)
That certainly speeds things up four instead of two rakes I was looking at a Krone Swadro 2000 six rakes I sat there with my mouth open never seen anything like it
That rake is amazing. Farmer near me had one on demo or hire last year, they are a serious bit of design engineering. Hard luck Harry, school's more important, you'll have to watch the videos. Richard. You and your disappearing camera bag again🤣. Idea for you- Why don't you get one of those little tracker tags that they use on luggage and leave it in the bag? I think you use a phone app to trace them if you lose something. It would save you a lot of time wondering where you left the bag.
"Saving fuel for the forager"...but surely a heavier grass load will necessitate a higher fuel consumption.......so basically no difference perchance ?
New Hollands were yellow. When I was on the farm way back. Anything New Holland was yellow. After Ford took over the tractors went to Ford blue. Fiat kept those colours. But you still get the odd yellow New Holland. Now part of some big conglomerate like everything else. A lot of the tractor companies have changed colours since the 1970's when I was farming. Case were white. Now red. Case IH. There used to be so many small tractor companies in the UK . Most gone to the wall. Some merged. David Brown were a common site. Nuffield. Muir Hill. I just looked up the brands available now. Not many in comparison. And how many made in the UK. The amount of money and resources the world wastes shipping goods around the world all the time. Instead of making stuff for the home market like we used to. All controlled by massive, merged companies that have the power to unfairly manipulate that market. In the end providing smart, but overpriced machinery, so you can make your silage.
You wouldn't think a rake could cause so much excitement
Ìts called being interested in your job
I am sowing fresh grass on the lawn today and the only thing going around my head is you saying , i have got a hell of a crop of grass

All very well this fancy new kit, they need to be busy as hell to make it pay, not for the faint hearted.
Nice video Richard. The grass looks to be just the right moisture content, it is rolling down perfectly.
New holland harvesters were yellow in the olden days so say they just continue with the yellow on some machines
Wow these guys have some seriously cool machines. Absolutely love it!
New phone! Have a look at the Oppo Find 7. Fantastic camera and a bloody great phone too.

Those machines are impressive! That tractor in the clamp is incredible.

The five in one Is creating fairly big drams for the chopper, thought the three in one was big enough, hefty crop of graaaass.

Krone do a 6 rotor rake. What a beast
A strong wind and i expect that rig to turn into a helicopter 😊
Looks like yellow is a universal bright color for loaders, bulldozers, and other road working / building gear.
Your accent became stronger when you hung out with him, Just curious, how come your accent isn't as strong as his?
no idea
Hello@@thefunkyfarmer
😁😆😅
will that rake still be going in 30 years time like my haybob though
By time that rakes being cut up for scrap it’ll have done probably 10 times the work your hay-bob has done in the last 30 years
22 tyres-

Time to fix the mower cuts awful

That was when we were still Great Britain envied around the world , now we make nothing and import everything .
Please get Harry out of school. This is his world. He belongs here. I know that is not possible but for a day at least?
