What a wonderful crop of grass good for Harry he got to go in the tractor the year is looking good! Now if the repair man can get the mower going be happy days . CRACK ON
Brilliant video Richard, you really captured the excitement of the day. The Fent forage harvester is a piece of kit . But the driver was a bit silent, but never mind you got some great footage of it operation. Hazza was so happy riding in that big tractor 🚜 👍👍
Great video. I do get a ride on tractor our forge harvester . All I do put out tumb like you tumbing for lift in old days they pull up and I hop on. My brother son gets a ride on silage harvester eventide we do silage our on tractors as well
Hi Richard brilliant video, I bet you can fit alot more in clamp due to the massive buck rake compressing it down 👍can you please put a little you milking the 🐄 I love to see especially the way you pat them before you but clusters on 👌🐄💯
Probably dont.. Make enough to keep it all going but not much else.. For quite a lot of farmers is just a way of life more than a way to get rich.. My uncle is a big silage contractor with all the kit and you should see his house.. Its normal, he owns a normal car.. That might tell you all you need to know..
I Bet your neighbour over the hedge with his trailed forager is feeling a bit old fashion ........a self propelled will do 3 or 4 fields in the time it takes him to do one.......still he will be thinking my old kit costs a fraction of that new stuff.. its a good feeling knowing your going to have some good grub in the clamp for the cows next winter
Driving that chopper takes concentration, having someone with a camera in the cab can be intimidating, also you never see Richards brother as he himself doesn’t like being on camera.
Cant believe I watched the repair man Neil was beating a piece of steel plate while it was in contact with the chrome plated ram, this is a polished shaft, any nick and and the seal will leak, just saying.
I love your Farm.xx
Fantastic videos Richard, plenty of serious silage action. Your contractors have some great kit.
Nice weather for sliage
How many can you just have a look at's does your mechanic get when he comes to your farm ? 😂
I’m a retired arable farmer but I very much enjoy watching your farming diary on video
Great footage and sound Richard
What an interesting and facinating insight into another side of dairy farming. Thank you Richard.....
Forager driver a man of few words
Probably concentrating on what he is doing nothing worse than someone talking when you are working

Get it repaired and get a front cutter....use both next time Rich and save time and diesel for the next crop.
He’d need a front linkage and pto to run a front mower which he doesn’t have and that old mowers had its day time for a new one
👌🏻always learning we are 👍🏻
@@gregshearer423 exactly, they manage with what they have, keeping them cows milking well is the utmost importance 🙂
@@glennlingard7851 indeed it is
Nice one . Harry be a happy lad as is Mr C SUNSHINE and tractors ........top-team
👀🙄🐾👍 Harry the leg end was in his element sat in the New Holland
Thanks for the ride 😁👍👍
Cracking video as always.
Great video. Have you ever pulled a trailed mower? I wouldn't trade my New Holland haybine for a three point mower.
Am the opposite, them things to me are antiquated compared to a three point disc mower🙂
Omg the same ram seal has gone on my loader too
That’s a hell of a crop of grass!!!
Brilliant video 💪🏻 🏴

Interesting all the technology in the harvester. However, the yield is only so much true as what you get in the trailer
Honestly watching you and farmer P, with all the money you pay out makes me wonder how you guys make any profit!

One thing In Richards favour, they don’t support an overdraft, that’s a very big plus!
Some good hay silage
All good. Great video. xx

He probably gets a lot of pleasure doing it himself and…no big bill to pay at the end of the day 🙂
Maybe but i guarantee the guy with the trailed kit will still make a bigger profit...
Hi Richard corn 🌽 Silage Available ?
So you said on your video today that you have 5 neighbouring farms that are silage. How many of them are dairy farmers other than you?
👍
Think you pissed him off, "caught you having a little break that's not allowed"
Some people don’t like cameras in their face.
Yes, that as well
Not the best forage harvester driver, man of no words,
Some people just aren’t used to a camera in their face, take Richards brother for instance, nothing wrong with that!
😆😅🤣
Do u have Silage making videos
Matey don't speak much in the forager lol

That bloke has probably done no end like that, if he was that bad am sure he’d not be at Richards fixing stuff?
Think that's why he'd taken the complete ram, the chrome ended up damaged
@@steveC2 honestly? l didn’t see that bit.
