Well another way to think about this level is that since the narrator says near the beginning that everything in this attraction is real. Real actors, real settings, your life is actually in danger, etc. This could be a sign of Michael Reynolds feeling cornered by your progress and is now pulling out all the stops to actively stop you from making it to the end. Or then again, it's Illbleed and nothing really makes sense either, they probably just wanted the weirdest level of all for last.
i actual think toyhunter kind of deserves being last atteraction, i mean it doesn't seem like it from a story perspective, but from a theme and tone perspective this is where the zany feel, and just raw madness of illblesd pecks
It says right in the notes of Cork that story events are like shock events that can damage you sometimes even more than regular shock events. So that's why he said you can be your life because you can die from too many story shock events.
I remember when I first watched this LP about 2 years ago. I was kinda sick at the time and had all kinds of fucked up fever dreams about this section.
Toy Hunter is such a confused reference to me. The property itself is clearly aping Toy Story, but then the character looks more like a Toy-ified Mac from The Thing, then his accent is closer to a western character, and what in the world am I even looking at?
I have 3 interpretations on this level First off, they said that Micheal Reynold’s movies were too gory for theaters, however in the opening, they say Toy Hunter was a popular tv show. My first theory is that Toy Hunter is a show Micheal Reynolds produces under an Alias as a side job which is how he was able to do this. How a character called Sexydoll exists is not clear to me. My second theory is similar to the first (a show Reynolds produces under an alias) but it’s meant to be one of those lost creepypasta episodes of other tv shows like Squidward’s S*icide or Bart goes to hell. Finally, my third theory is that this was a show Reynolds does not own and is using illegally, but the owners of Toy Hunter don’t want to risk dying because…….. this is a man who runs a killer theme park and hasn’t been arrested.
I would disagree about the level not fitting the tone. If you didn't tell me what order the levels were intended to be played in, and ordered me to decide which one didn't belong, I don't think I could rule a single one out.
i do wish they used the story marker for other levels! especially with the gimmick they have for this level (some of the story shock events can hurt like HELL, even more than normal events!), i feel like a whole other interesting game would be hidden in that mechanic!!
Wow right of the bat you get attacked in this attraction...that´s mean somehow... Okay now we have Cork-Jorg...well why not XD The Story is hidden...?....That´s...stupid. Really stupid in my eyes! But also a nice little gimmick to fresh things up.
You gotta find the story of this level on the level itself? Well, that's really original to see on a videogame. Toyhunter's accent is... kind of retarded. But that freaken cowboy is effing scary. Those devil eyes...
"You will not be able to learn the story as you go." The most correct statement in the entire game.
The narrator really waited til' the last level to explain that you'll be participating in the film's story and are in danger of dying. Illbleed, baby.
Never saw a game go from 10/10 to 11/10 so quickly.
Ha ha, what a story mark.
Cactus man of Mexico has an awesome face! :D
Wow, the narrator has been pretty insane so far, but this one really just goes that extra mile.
A remarkable transformation from the earlier videos in the Illbleed series, this is where true SGF suddenly appeared six years ago.
ToyHunter Goes To Hell. You know, for kids!
Well yeah that's why he's drinking milk and not booze

I'm a little startled by the fact that Cork has the best voice acting in the game.
"Cork's home is a toy box full of fun things"
Well, that doesn't sound so bad.
"Don't bring a wrench to a gun fight."
It says right in the notes of Cork that story events are like shock events that can damage you sometimes even more than regular shock events. So that's why he said you can be your life because you can die from too many story shock events.

"You will receive a MONETARY RE-WARD!"
LOL
That ending was the most terrifying thing I've seen from this game so far. But it's kinda cute too so, guess it still evens out.
Confound this game, it drives me to drink.
All 13 previous owners of that gun committed suicide, weird.
This level, IMO, is the best level yet.
"Whenever that story mark shows up, that means the story is hidden at the spot!"
Good thing Dummyman doesn't have Quint's infinity wrench. You wouldn't have stood a chance!
Kind of a pity that the only level where you get to play as Jorg is during the level where you don't even see much of him.
This is where the game gets weird...
This game has a tone?! I throught it was "Crazy shit happens deal with it." This seems in tone to me XD
I quote the Scout from Team Fortress 2; "Don't bring a wrench to a gunfight!"
I actually want to see the episode with the battle against the Cactus Man of Mexico now.
Do we get to see how Yorg/Zach got that sexy scar?
Oh my word. Did you see Cork jump at 08:25?! It's him! Cork is Killerman! D:
nononono as is common knowlage killerman is killerman
"Gun will generally trump wrench."
Ho ho, that's because he doesn't know how to use one like York does.
Damn, shooting Dummyman while he's down. That;s cold
1:50 Jesus Christ somebody take that firearm away from him he's clearly tripping balls.
There's a snake in my boot! Why did it have to be snakes?
YEE-HAW YEIAH!!

Man, characters in this game seem to really like going to hell.
"Isn't it fun to be ME?"
Cork goes to HELL, The family film of the year :D
Toy Hunter is such a confused reference to me. The property itself is clearly aping Toy Story, but then the character looks more like a Toy-ified Mac from The Thing, then his accent is closer to a western character, and what in the world am I even looking at?
5:06
THIS is where it stops making sense?
Fucking Toy Story word for word! Why? What? My head!
What are Jorg's stat? Just wondering because the primary cast covers basically every other stat
If I remember right, he's between Kevin and Michelle; a little less stamina, a little more adrenalin.
"This is where the game starts to make not a lot of sense."
*giggle* *snort*
I know this stage is something that doesn’t make sense. But I felt like it’s more for laughs.
Did that kid swallow a chipmunk, or did the voice actor inhale the air inside a helium balloon?
hah, he sounds like Mary! i even thought it was a giant Mary for a moment there.
this VA job just gets worse by the minute.
just from this start it looks a lot like a bonus stage to me, hence why it breaks the in-game continuity in such an illogical way.
What a Story Mark.
This is cawlled... Uh STOH-REE MARK!
Is it me or does Cork look like a chibi version of Rick Grimes?
LOL XD
Toy Hunter: Cork goes to Hell
So you are a toy hunting for the story.
Toy Story, really? D:
+MASF Reload hahahahaha I didn't get that until I read your comment. Wow, Illbleed! You so funny.
I swear they got the levels mixed up here...
what a story mark
I have 3 interpretations on this level

Merry Christmas, supergreatfriend!
Wait, what?
Wait...THIS is the point where ILLBLEED doesn't makes sense? o.o
*gets out popcorn* :T
umm is it just me or does the toy hunter or cork or whatever he's called look like a happy chuck norris !?!
Is this Toy Story 4?
toy story springs to mind ?
Jorg's head is shaped like Frankie Muniz (Malcom in the Middle)....
I'm more generally protesting the fact that there's a random ass just...there. For no reason.
This is the part where the game starts to not make sense? Where you not paying attention to the rest of it?! XD
I would disagree about the level not fitting the tone. If you didn't tell me what order the levels were intended to be played in, and ordered me to decide which one didn't belong, I don't think I could rule a single one out.
0:42 Jesus Christ < Cork
...Toy Story? What the fuck?
i do wish they used the story marker for other levels! especially with the gimmick they have for this level (some of the story shock events can hurt like HELL, even more than normal events!), i feel like a whole other interesting game would be hidden in that mechanic!!
I was literally praying that he wouldn't turn into ToyHunter.
What if Disneyland have a weapon vending machine?
Ahh yes, the sense stopped here.
A gun being better than the almighty wrench? York would like to disagree
oh my god
cactus man of mexico
I would pay a good chunk of money to know why Cork was fighting the Cactus Man of Mexico. THAT would be a much more interesting attraction.
@KefkeWren For a moment, it does, but then they explain about some rule change, so...
Durazno peach me cantó
Oh. Oh, NOW is where it starts to not make sense... I see...
Where was the giant worm in this??
This seems like a fucking creepy pasta
0:40 He walks on water!
CORK IS JESUS!
Is it just me, or does this seem at the beginning like it was originally supposed to be a tutorial level?
Wow right of the bat you get attacked in this attraction...that´s mean somehow...
Okay now we have Cork-Jorg...well why not XD
The Story is hidden...?....That´s...stupid. Really stupid in my eyes! But also a nice little gimmick to fresh things up.
Erm. Is that an arse, bottom right corner of the screen during the first few seconds of the video? D:
8:26 Lil Jon
So...it's kinda like Westworld...
The narrator kinda scares me in this intro....
YEE HAW YAYO
What do you mean, homophobic? When did they say anything homophobic?
what, what happened to the only other survivor from the last mission?
also.........cactus man of mexico?
jesus cork, use gun safety for once.
You gotta find the story of this level on the level itself? Well, that's really original to see on a videogame.
Toyhunter's accent is... kind of retarded. But that freaken cowboy is effing scary. Those devil eyes...
4:14 ... DONNIE TRUMP MENTION
You are lying there is no story, there is naht.
