Tecmo Super Bowl is the greatest sports game ever. Everyone can thank EA for buying the rights to be the only video game developer to make official NFL games when 2K Sports handed them their asses back in 2004. Otherwise, we could finally get a new, proper, officially licensed Tecmo Bowl.

Tecmo Super Bowl was good for the time it came out, but we don't need a new Tecmo Bowl game. The only advantage it would have over Madden is nostalgia, and if people want nostalgia they can get an NES, and the old Tecmo Games. They came out with more modern Tecmo Bowl games and I played a demo of one, and it was trash. If they make a Tecmo Bowl game with realistic plays, realistic gameplay, and realistic looking players, it won't be the same Tecmo. If they make the same style Tecmo, it wouldn't be able to compete with modern games.

Ha Ha Ha! So true. I graduated to Madden in my teenage years, then reverted back to Tecmo Bowl and Tecmo Super Bowl favoring the simpler gameplay. The Forced QB Vision in Madden during ranked online games was the last straw for me.

I have multiple NES systems and I never have to blow into my cartridges or have a game lock up. There are ways to refurbish these systems to get them to work as good as new with minimal effort.
