Great job you did there. Good to see these old tractors brought back to life. It is refreshing to see people who are creative rather than those who have channels that only want to destroy things.
The 720 is my favorite 2 cylinder. I got to run one in my younger days. 4 bottom mounted plow. 14 ft harrow gator. I always thought it was beautiful with the duals on to.
I have an 830 I bought back in the mid 80.s. It smoked to easy I thought so the next spring I pulled the injectors and took them to a diesel shop to check. Turned out that 3 of 6 holes were plugged on one injector. And two different injectors. I got two of same brand back and it ran much better and didn,t smoke as much. Still runs great to this day. Not quite 7000 hours and still original engine and not rebuilt. Does not use oil either. Sweet tractor!
The smile on Dale’s face said it all. And being that he got to use his Mickey Mouse finger just added to the happiness. 😂 So what project is next?? 5020? Dirty Peter? Another tractor? Or an excavator?
Excellent video Brandon :) , your Dad :) , Dads Strength 💪 to also yes that super nice and smooth for 60 hp for sure ! Think your Dad saying now let get work and see how performance does again!
Best thing was to see the huge smile on your dad's face when the diesel finally popped off. Enjoy the years with your dad while you can.
Love the smile on Dad's face when it started. You can tell thats his baby. Thanks again for taking us along.
Dad has good taste!

That surging sound of the poney motor..... stirs up some..... memories of an old 70. 🤠
Sounds great glad you got it fixed hopefully that never happens again thanks for sharing
Beautiful buddy!
Love the 720 sound
Great to hear that sound. My Dad had a 1959 JD 730D narrow front. It sounded much the same. Sure miss operating farm equipment.
Great job awesome video thanks Brandon and George and dad
Good Boy You made sure the Oil pressure was good before Starting it Up
Your Dad’s smile when it hit says it all. Great job!
Awesome work from all of you guys great to see its running again 👍
Beautiful ole girl with the exception of the green wheel hubs
Running better than new.
Dad looks happy to have his tractor back. Wilson doesn’t look to thrilled that his nap area was being occupied. When will you get back to the 5020??
Never in doubt. Good job!
Great to see that one running again!
I believe 57 hp from factory settings so if you had 60 with a plugged injector it was running good then....
Great job glad you guys got the old girl running again 👍
SHAZAM⚡🦌 New Deere . sounds fantastic . Great Job thanks
Sounded great and that smile was awesome. That's a happy man.

Great to see the 720 run. Next on the list is the 5020 ?

After a few hours I recommend checking to make sure the flywheel is tight. Glad it's running again!
We always do that's actually not the first time it's been off its kinda not my favorite part of the project lol
@dirtgrainsteel it's not mine neither lol
Great project, love all the repair videos. Thanks and enjoy the farm show.
I never knew the JD used pony motors. Not that I am around tractors a lot though.
Just on the 2 cylinder diesel tractors
Awesome.

I’m trying to get him to do dirty Peter but no luck yet lol
@@tylertunis6755 I mention it every so often. It was through that truck video I found his channel
That was a major job having to replace that crank. Hope it runs out good and lasts another lifetime...

That’s a good looking tractor. Can you say what the tire sizes are on it?
Thanks, great content
16.9 38 on the rear and I can't remember on the front but I'll look!
MM77 Approved 👍🏻👍🏻…………………………………………….Well, like every one has said, when she fired and your dad started smiling was pretty cool!
Sweeeet!!!!!
Need to turbo charge that dude get another 25 hp! Can it be done on old jd diesel?
Yes it could be done!
Sounds great do you turn the pony motor off after the main motor starts or leave it run
Thank you....after the main starts you shut the gas off to the pony and let it die and then it's just along for the ride
Your dad is happier where the hair on a biscuit
i would changed that too 24 direct electric hate those ponies on jd
It's staying a pony
