    Thanks for the video. I like that you kept the bolts in order for the pump. I was not smart enough to do that when i took the old one off. It would have been cool to point on the longer ones. But I was hoping it would be easy to identify based on the casting.

    Just catching up with some of your videos. Nice job with your lighting especially. I recently saw a video cautioning on copper spray on both sides since you are gluing the gasket to two different metals that may expand at dissimilar rates and cause the gasket to fail.

    What was the point of opening the back of the oil pump? Couldn't you just set the stub in the hole and then bolt it on the other side?

      You can custom make one or purchase a breather adapter for the front case here ftyracing.com/product/dsm-front-case-balance-shaft-to-an-adapter/

      @@RvaJay Yeah no problem if you know someone that can weld you could have an AN plug welded over the case too but its easier to just buy the one that's already made, you can also remove the 14mm bolt plug on the block that's used for balance shaft positioning, and add a fitting there for venting crank pressure as well.

    What would happen if you only have one balance shaft installed.

    • @RvaJay
      @RvaJay  Před 2 lety

      Assuming everything else was still hooked up? It would vibrate like crazy. Probably destroying the engine. They counteract the natural engine vibration as well as each other. My next video will show the damage to the oil pump shaft/bearing when the belt driven shaft failed.

    Nice vedio sir what is the effect of deleting balancer is there no problem in engine when running

    • @RvaJay
      @RvaJay  Před 2 lety

      Mainly piece of mind because you don't have to worry about the belt breaking. The engine should rev a bit faster and make a little more power too.

    • @whoismario

      I’ve have experienced a balance belt shearing before because of a bad bearing on one of these engines. The shafts are spinning faster than the crank so their bearings wear out quicker.
