Thanks for the guide! I'm not sure why sometimes I miss the window of the 1st storm (maybe catch rate rng?) but even with some learning mistakes I got a Water Barrel in 2 hours following the guide.
Hmm I would wonder what your fishing level is like you said it might be related to bad RNG on catch rate. I know that fishing spots moving around can also be bad RNG so that could be another factor. Congrats on the barrel though! Such a great QoL item to get!!

Sadly not possible to reliably do solos at sub 60 fishing level. Been following your guide, atm 57 fishing after 4 tries I only managed to catch the 19 for second phase once. Better stick to mass world until higher fishing.
Sorry to hear this, I didnt have too much trouble with it when I was doing it after level 50 but RNG could have just been really in my favor. Make sure youre utilizing the double fishing spots as soon as they come up

Great guide! Why do you need a double fishing spot
The double fishing spot allows you a chance to catch 2 harpoon fish at the same time, so it just speeds up the process

Whats your fishing level? You might just be getting RNG on the catch rate if youre under like 50 fishing
