AMG GLC63 vs Lamborghini URUS, Jeep Trackhawk, Hellcat Charger & Challenger Scat Pack 1/4 Mile

- Mercedes-Benz AMG GLC 63 lining up with a Lamborghini Urus, Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, Dodge Charger Hellcat and Dodge Challenger Scat Pack for some 1/4 mile drag racing.
I am the GLC63 owner. Unfortunately, during the race against the Trackhawk, I had an engine hiccup about 2 seconds into the race (when you see me slow down) & never had full power the rest of the run. That 12.4 was my worst time of the day. Best was a 10.729. Lots of fun!
@Chiedozie Ehileme I would certainly do so if they showed up to race! They usually are rare at 1/4 mile tracks, at least around here.

You’d prob need a newer model s performance for a good race. I know of one in Florida who’s best is around 10.7. Would be a good one! Guessing in cooler temps you’d run a bit quicker

Happens to all of us. I lost to a KIA Stinger when all four wheels suddenly lost traction out of the hole and I had to play catch-up. Granted, it was the worlds fastest Stinger that at the time was running low 11s when I was stock, but an L is an L. Got him in the rematch.
The mere fact of having such incredible engineering pieces of art all in the same track is something to be grateful for.

As an E63 AMG S owner, this is very impressive! Feels good to see a fellow AMG owner beat these types of cars with a simple tune/bolt ons. I can dust 90% of the cars on the road, not veyr much that can beat me. Nice races!
This was the second one of these I had seen. I have one other video. It ran similar times. Impressive!

for some reason Mercedes tunes the E63 way more than the GLC 63, the E63 is around 0.6 sec quicker to 60.
I'm guessing the GLC 63 AMG had heat soaking issues or a shifting issue because it ran the slowest pass against the fastest SUV! If the AMG ran a 10.8 1/4 mile like he did before he would of beat the Jeep that ran a 11.1. They should of defiantly raced again!🤣Great racing though!

If you watch closer the jeep didn’t floor it for the first two seconds so I’m pretty sure it could’ve done better.

So the GLC ran the slowest time of the day against the trackhawk in my book from the constant 10s he was getting he beat the trackhawk

The GLC63s are silly quick for stock SUVs. The immediate torque is just monstrous from the AMG 4 liter biturbo engine.
Considering its an suv it handles really well on the corners too. It's an amazing bit of machinery. 😀

Yeah l saw the car dip for a sec against the track hawk,...you wouod have won that race as well,...l have a tuned 43 that runs mid 11's. But that 63 aint waitin around,...good racing!!

It’s not all about speed. It’s the entire package Lamborghini offers.

So what is all done to the AMG? They run 11.8 stock, so what has been modified?
E70 tune, 200 cel catted downpipes, turbo blanket, & a riser intake. Stock turbos.
@Enzo Morf Depends on the tune you get. I will say I paid several thousand for all my mods. But I got the car for a steal so it all works out on the financial side.
Actually the GLC63 does not run 11.8’s stock. Around 12.2’s The GLC63 “S” yes may run 11.8’s / 11.9’s. However they both share the same engine, the non “S” is simply de-tuned from the factory to 469hp down from 503 in the “S”. The GLC63 has a 0-60 of 3.8 seconds and the GLC63 S 3.6 - Until 2022 the “S” was not available in the USA in the SUV model. Prior to 2022 you could only purchase the “S” in the Coupe’ or turtle model as i call it. I personally do not care for the coupe at all. Thinking of trading my 2019 SUV GLC63 for the 2022 GLC63 S SUV.

The Mercedes website shows that as well. The GLE is bigger and heavier. The AMG GLC 63s is one of the fastest SUVs out there.

GLC ate that Trackhawks lunch BUT with the money you save on the purchase of the Trackhawk you could mod it way way way past the GLC performance.

You're not saving money on a Trackhawk the GLC63 low Miles are going for 55-65k and far far nicer then a Chrysler/jeep/Dodge product

Well, I beat his best time on all of my other runs that day.
Only reason did won in that race was a misfire on the AMG which was his slowest pass of the night. The trackhawk would have been annihilated on one of the other passes
