When your role has ~50 pages dedicated only for your class, maybe its a bit complicated lol
(I checked, its precisely 47 pages. Section 10 of the Core rulebook which is for netrunning is 47 pages long...)

@@JonJonTheWise Actually I'm glad you asked. Do you know anywhere to get a pre-made Cyberpunk campaign online? Like how regular DnD has an adventure book like The Lost Mines of Phandelver. So far I'm using an original story but I'd like to have something as a backup, or to take assets from.
Can you do a video just on Data Fortresses, A.I., and Virtual Spaces? They're my favorite part of Cyberpunk 2020, absolutely fascinating and why netrunner is my favorite class. Love your videos though!

My solitary frame of reference is 2077. How well does it translate to TRPG play?
There’s a lot of parallels. The look is on point. The missions are on point. The only difference is how you interact with the world. In the video game you’re encouraged to kill everything to loot and gain XP.
In the ttrpg that will get you killed. You can’t make enemies with every gang and every organization. The ttrpg is so deadly that you’re better off working a way to solve problems without bloodshed

How about the hacking side of it? Are the daemons similar, or even identical?
In 2077, when I play a Netrunner build, I seize every opportunity to KO enemies from a concealed position with hacking, and only to pick up the extra XP for kills, carry a knife. Also carry a blunt weapon for taking down melee cyberpsychos.
Knife throwing is my only ranged combat .
