      When it comes to not particularly high-level amateur competitions it's possible that someone, somewhere, in some sport, might not have doped, but I wouldn't bet on it (people are people, after all). Having said that, people are people, so they can believe almost anything when it's about people.

    • @pipstrem5401
      @pipstrem5401 Před 14 dny

      @@Alexandersd sure, but without having a little hope that cycling got cleaner after all, for me there would be no reason for me to watch this sport I love at all. I agree with you, to still have hope, looking at the history of this, and every other endurance-sport might be ignorant of me. As you say, I‘m just a human being after all.

    I think Ineos said that apart from Pog, the other UAE riders were 'ordinary.' Well they certainly proved today that it is not your individual abilities that matter, so much as how you perform as a team.

    • @user-lg8vn6rs9u
      @user-lg8vn6rs9u Před 14 dny +2

      Je m'en pose énormément des questions à son sujet, tout simplement car il a de meilleures performances que Lance sur les temps de certaines montées et qu'il "progresse" encore alors que Armstrong était gavé de produits à l'époque et qu'il bénéficiait probablement déjà selon certains spécialistes d'une aide mécanique. Donc lui, sans rien de tout cela, il serait plus fort. Malheureusement, je ne crois plus au père Noël...

      @@user-lg8vn6rs9uOui, plus de questions à se poser. Je ne sais même pas comment il parvient à garder la tête froide alors que c'est tellement gros.

    Reality is he’s not racing against any GC rider at the Giro. He’s sending a message to Yonas and that’s it. This is a game of chess between god’s and the rest are simple there to witness with a better seat than rest of us. I don’t think Yonas will come back for the tour. Even if he does, three weeks off the bike is way too much to be at this level. Before the injury, I think he was at this level and possibly higher. With time off and probably still soreness, especially when he rides up the climbs out of the saddle…. It seems like an impossible task for Yonas to challenge Tadej. But these guys are who they are for a reason… besides Lemond, there hasn’t been a cyclist at their level.
    As far as Pantani, Lance, Edie and the rest of Ferrari lab rats, who cares… they were just lab rats nothing more.

    Except Rafa and Domen, his team is really weak, and in the Tour it will be worst, with Ayuso and Almeida that never will pull (they think they are STARS). I would like to see Pogacar with a strong team like Ineos, HE DESERVES DOMESTIQUES ABSOLUTLY DEDICATED TO PROTECT AND PULL HIM. UAE is a shame, managers with too much OILmoney but little brains.
