The thing i like about this figure is that it can be posed on all fours, so it works as a kong figure as well as a super articulated figure of a normal gorilla
I’ve been a really big fan of the Monsterarts figures for quite a while, and while some more recent figures have failed quality wise for the most part they are fantastic figures. But a massive problem that the more recent figures have (2019+) is that they come with little to no accessories. From the GvK line Godzilla doesn’t come with an atomic breath and Mechagodzilla only comes with an extra pair of hands.

But never did I think you would get the SHMA for both Godzilla and Kong. Now the question is, will you get Mecha Godzilla, because he costs as much as these two combined ($150)
Oh yes absolutely! Mechagodzilla is looks awesome! I actually collect so many other lines than just transformers but don’t show them off all that often sadly

I think to buy for my 3yrs old boy, hesitate between this and raw 10 cy gor which is massive but almost no articulations. This one It's little bit small i think. If Kong was 7--8 inches than they could articulate jaw without extra face for change. Anyway love articulations which allows to make dynamic pose for your kid while playing.

So they've added the stand to recreate the already iconic pose when Kong attacks Godzilla and he fires his beam on Kongs axe, but the MA Godzilla doesn't even come with a firing beam?
I have to disagree with the ghidorah part. Shma ghidorah is so lazy, no shading or paint apps, especially when the promo pics made it look like he was glowing gold. Not to mention the disappointing articulation in both the wings and all around. Shma kong 2021 is much better than the ghidorah figure, especially with the accessories and amazing articulation.
Even though this figure is awesome, I'll have to stick with my Playmates Kong, since I had him since before the movie came out. However, that doesn't mean I won't get the SH Monsterarts MechaGodzilla when it comes out.

Great review as always! However, I have to ask: starting at 6:17, you begin to go into the accessories but only show off his roaring head. Normally, you cover everything so I assumed we were going to see all the fists and battle axe closer as well. Was there an editing error/did footage get lost? Just curious. Keep up the great content!

Kong's face was not like Kong from Godzilla Vs king Kong 2021 and this Kong was more darker in colour then Kong from the movie and this Kong is without neck
