When I was 13 I didn't have a great relationship with my parents, but I did with my friends who I connected with on social media, so that would've made things harder. I also had project accounts for project websites back then, 16 was ages away at the time.
Ooh this is a really great point! Luckily I did have a good relationship with my mom, but I didn't have many friends at school and the Internet was vital to my social life. I could see how not having a supportive parent could cause issues there for sure

I totally need a social media person
Both my children were able to get social media at 14. But I have access to it so all their notifications came to my phone. I only checked things that raised my antennas.

threads is garbage I give it less then one year before its obsolete

it's unbalanced, took the weakest and most boring from twitter and lumped them on to one platform that lacks substance. Also, the improvements happening on X as it grows (and it is growing) will draw many who left back.@@thelatashajames
