The Zep house and siding wash works great. Main thing is it doesn’t destroy plants and flowers on a residential job. Bleach products tend to destroy plants, bushes, wood, patio furniture etc. I only use Bleach products if a building or house doesn’t have very many plants, patio furniture, or stuff that it can ruin. I pressure washed for decades with only water. I get the whole Bleach takes it off quicker thing, but not at the expense of peoples stuff getting ruined, and your clothes too…

I don’t think you understand how much this just help me because the closest pool store to where I can get industrial grade bleach is about an hour and 30 minutes away and you help me realize that I don’t necessarily need 10 to 12% right now I can start with 7 1/2% and work my way up now I just need to figure out what is the mixture For concrete with bleach and water

The Zep wood deck & fence wash contains Oxalic acid. I actually checked the msd sheet on that. I use it sometimes in conjunction with sodium metasilicate

I know this is late, and I’m also pretty new myself, but you could get the square footage of the area on google earth, and then charge per sq ft. Just look up the average pressure washing prices per square ft in your area and go a little lower than that. Like my state is around .20 cents per sq ft so I plan on having mine at .17 cents per sq ft. When you’re first starting out though I’ve been told it’s better to charge per hour till you start getting bigger jobs.

    100 oaks Home Depot.
What about that 30 second cleaner on wood decks or fences? I’m going to end up getting all my stuff from sesw but in a pinch is it worth it

COMPLETE waste of money and time. The 64 oz bottle sprayer was empty in less than 1 minute. It coated about 300 square feet of my deck. Rinsed after 3 minutes (per the instructions). Result: Almost no difference.
Then mixed up a 2% bleach plus 2 oz of Dawn and applied with 2-gallon garden sprayer. After 3 minute wait, lightly brushed in with deck brush and quick rinse for AMAZING results.
      SH + surfactant = Awesome

Have you ever checked the safety data on bleach, sodium hypochlorite, or chlorine? If not, you really should. And remember people, never ever mix caustic with acid. Doing so can lead to serious trouble that you definitely want to avoid.

Thanks for posting those shorts so people know that hiring someone to power wash your driveway for the prices you charge is insane and stupid, definitely helps steer people the other way when they could spend 200 of the 1.2K you beg for and do it themselves
