- Hey guys, today we look at the (fictional) events which lead to the sinking of the Saturnia in 1934; Mediterranean Sea.
First video on my new PC, aha. Sorry if it looks laggy that's my mouse because i was getting about 65-80 fps throughout the video.
Song: The Last Battle.
Ship by: Fabricio Brusa & Christopher Rich.
Boiler Room & Staircases and Cabins: Dante Sanchez. - Hry
The real Saturnia was broken up in 1965 after 40 years of service. I know it's a fictional video, but there is, among others, a great mistake: Saturnia was a motorship, not a steamer, and she had no boiler room...
I was just weirded out cause he said the waves had calmed but yet still no lifeboat was launched
The music really sets the mood. Really dramatic and sad at the same time.
Well done.In real life the Saturnia and her sister Vulcania were very successful, popular, and long lived ships.
your right
The vulcania actually sank on their way to scraps
The camera man on the boiler must have dranked a water breathing potion
either the crewman were to lazy to check the compartments or the pump was stretched to be bigger than the capacity of the compartments or other imaginary reasons.
i love your vids keep up the good work!
Awesome video keep doing your work buddy!
This is fictional but the sister ships of the Saturnia, Neptunia and the Oceania were both sunk on the same day, 9-18-1941 by a British submarine off Libya. Both the Saturnia and sister ship Vulcania survived WW2.
It's true, but Oceania and Neptunia were not properly sister ships of Saturnia and Vulcania, because they had different characteristics: Saturnia and Vulcania were built respectively in 1925 and 1926, had a tonnage of 23.940 and 23.970 tons and a length of 192,9 metres, while Neptunia and Oceania were built in 1932 and 1933, had a tonnage of 19.475 and 19.507 tons and a length of 179,7 metres.
@@andreamorandin Your info is correct but Saturnia was built in 1927.Vulcania 1928.They were introduced in Feb and Dec 1928.They joined the Italian Line schedule in Jan 1932.Picture History of the Italian Line 1932-1977, by William H. Miller,Jr.
I believe the 1926 was a launch date with completion in 1928.
@@richardjones3712 In fact I referred to the date of launch, you to the date of maiden voyage, so we are both right ;)
So, Saturnia was launched on 29 Dec. 1925 and made her maiden voyage on 21 Sep. 1927; Vulcania was launched on 19 Dec. 1926 and made her maiden voyage on 19 Dec. 1928. Both ships entered service for Cosulich Line and joyned Italian Line (Italia Flotte Riunite) in Jan. 1932, when several Italian shipping lines merged by Government order.
Neptunia was launched on 27 Dec. 1931 and made her maiden voyage on 5 Oct. 1932, and Oceania was launched on 29 Sep. 1932 and departed for her maiden voyage on 19 Sep. 1933.

The Best Ship Channel Ever Hopefully This Will Reach 1,000,000!
i love these so much
You are the best of making sank ships videooooooo!
even though the games psychics do not allow funnels to fall and ships to split in some of your stories can you still say if a funnel fell or if it split
Another Amazing Video, Once Again!
Thanks buddy! :D
Also, how do you get your ships to sink like that?!
OMFG awsome video!!!😆😆😆😆
damn bro, nice work
Bro, this is amazing! Please make more, the are eccelent(misspelled on purpose) And Your almost to 2k! KEEP GOING 👍👍👍😎👍
Nice Work!
Thanks man :D
you should try ship simulator extreams one day too
wait how did the water ended up in too many compart ments.
I love how CZcams thinks its virtual sailor but its actually vehicle Sim.
Wait this didn't happen. The Saturnia was retired in 1965... what is this ship?
CalitranoN this CZcamsr likes too make up ships and sink them and sink ships that were scrapped and also ships that did sink
It's for entertainment
It's also fictional
I'm still not sure why she started taking in water, or why the pumps started to pull in water. Did they suddenly reverse after having been miraculously damaged? How many engineers have asked themselves these same questions - or more - watching this excellent animation.
They started taking in water because they broke down from pumping so much water
great video man best youtuber
Awesome I rate this ship channel 1ST!

Seeing the mouse drives me crazy it's like that's all my eye wants to look at , and the graphics of the fires are really bad, other than that decent story line. I've seen most of your videos you are definitely gifted! Thanks for sharing!
That looks to be Vulcania. Saturnia had a funnel with a cap that slanted down fore to aft.
good video,ekep it up
1:15 song?
Aaaah!
were do i download the ship
why is it raining at 3:16 inside the ship lol xD

Why is there rain inside?
Cool
All those life boats and n8one were launched? ?
What happened to the captian?
I love you guys
What game is this?
I realize this is pure fiction, but I'm going to need a better explanation as to how and why she began taking on water. I'm guessing the storm had something to do with it but really even very bad storms are of little concern for passenger liners even in 1934. ;o)
Robby House Probaly broke glass windows and portholes. Broke off crane. Water wouldnget in through the hold, especially if it was raining
Robby House It says in the video that the bilge pumps gave in and started pumping in water.
is this a game? if so what game?
WHAT IF YOU ARE THE OWNER OF THE SHIP AND THE SHIP WAS SIKING..... WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
ME: COMING WITH THE SHIP
I would organise a rescue and go with my ship
I've never clicked a notification so fast
What are you using? Vehicle Simulator or Virtual Sailor?
vehicle simulator
wow so waves sunk it
She did not sink in 1934! I sailed on her from Naples to New York in 1956.
It is a fictional sinking. Read the description.
Read Description Please
Game?
Ohhhhhh Mouse
i don't understand why you choose to show a fictional event (sinking of the Saturnia) instead of a real one (there are hundreds of ships in the bottom of the sea...)

+Shipster1912 can you make the Andrea Doria? I will like this if you did
I love how CZcams says its varital
Why is old ships are like titanics design?
because technology and design were so similar when ,Saturnia and Vulcania were built
That was the way ships were designed in that time period, just like how now all cruise and transport ships look very similar
How many people died?
nobosy died because the sinking was fictional
and plus the Saturnia was scrapped in the 1960's
Wow you're good! Is this real?
No, because if it was, we would know about it.
MS. Saturnia is real but it never sinked
Bhavesh Bharambe it was but obviously I wasn't on it
@@TheVulcanosuper u mean sank?
@@Axelbur13l Saturnia was broken up in 1965, Vulcania in 1974
My favourite video muretania

she looks just like mother ship
Shipster plz animate the story of the maria graza aka ghost ship plz
Ryan J. ryan254123 it's fictional.
Bill Cipher is an illuminati
Antonia Graza
I dont believe this is true .. ive done alot of research on this peticular vessal considering my Grandfather and Greatmother came from Italy on it in 1953 1954 and in 1965 this ship was brought back to Italy and torn apart.. please explain this video.
Read description he says it’s fictional ok
I have to wonder why I would pay money for a vessel that I wouldn't be able to use for a 2006 - 2009 game... I have already spent 30 on virtual sailor, so why would I spend more on a vessel that wouldn't even run 20 FPS on my shit box of a computer...
CAN YOU DO A ESTONIA SINKING
Good we bare bears
the lifeboats weren't
lowered
Preston Huckaba Name of the game?
Put fictional in the title. Damn...watching all these videos only to find they never happened. I see it’s in the description. But you could cover so many more ships that actually sunk. There are hundreds....if not thousands
Read the damn dec

I like Shipster1912
"water started to flood the boiler room" this ship is not a steam ship is a ship propulsed by diesel turbines. foool
Nonononononono you fucknut SS stands for screw steamer you dumbass
@@hevendor958 lmao @ fucknut...the correct information and the perfect insult the same statement...you just made my night.
uhhhh...... What?
Looks like the Vulcania
is her sister ship
Because they are sister ships
looks like the neptunia
is a older fleetmate of neptunia
Saturnia and Vulcania were larger and older tha Oceania and Neptunia; the latter were quite similar to the former, but had a slightly more modern profile, like the more inclined bow.
How did this ship sinking she didn't crashed anything
Because the bilge pumps where damaged and started letting in water.
Yeah it says it
the hull got cracked
the golden ingot /micheal waves damaged her hull...
the golden ingot /micheal the pumps stopped working so water started comin in
