- Bottom Fishing, In this video we'll fishing offshore out of Ponce Inlet, Florida. This was just a short trip with a goal of catching some fish for dinner. We headed offshore about 20 miles and stopped at one of our spots, it was loaded with grunts. At our next two spots we had to deal with sharks but we managed to catch a couple of Lane Snapper and Porgies for dinner. After getting home I filleted the Snapper and Porgies and Joyce cooked them on our Blackstone Griddle for a great dinner. Catch and Cook #bottomfishing #cookingfish #catchandcook

No, I know what you mean, I used to catch them in New Jersey. These sharks have teeth, a couple of them were about 5'-0 but we didn't get them on video. Thanks for Watching our videos

You're right Ed they are good eating. I haven't been mackerel fishing yet but I want to get out soon. We went out of Ponce Inlet today, we didn't do much, lots of sharks (some big ones), grunts, short vermilion snapper and red snapper.

Paul a lot of your sinkers are on the reef lol. When I was young and worked on fishing boats I caught lots of sharks but we considered them trash fish and I guess that's still in my head lol. One fish dock I worked on cleaned and froze the big ones, they would cut steaks from them using a band saw and sold it for sword fish. Nice hearing from you

I have a question about fishing Suwannee. What kind of influence does all the fresh water have pouring into the gulf?
Everything is ok when you have a normal flow but when there is heavy rain it hurts the fishing until you get offshore or north and south 5 miles or more especially the mackerel. Thanks for Watching our videos
Hopefully the sharks won't eliminate the sportfish. But who knows. the NOAA has people that decide for them in California.

No machine, Joyce does it the old fashioned way kneads it by hand, she makes it once a week for over 50 years. She does have a Kitchen Aid mixer I bought her about 50 years ago and she still uses it. The new ones don't seem to last that long. Thanks for Watching our videos
