I was moving my sailboat from the LI Sound for winter storage up the Hudson and it flashed by us just as we were rounding the tip of Manhattan one October. It had to be about 1990. What a sight to see her under full sail heading up the East River, deck canted toward us. My friend had her motor-driven camera going as it passed. We talked about making posters with them. Later she told me she forgot to put film in her camera. 😁
Comming from Belgium with our own sail yacht, I saw her (I was about 17 years old...) as a hulk in the Medina River above Cowes on the Isle of Wight end of the 70s... Saw her in and outside - what a beauty. My dream is to sail her once. Do my dreams comes true???
If this boat was the J-class Endeavour I know, it was found in a junkyard in England in the late 80s left in the mud. an American girl bought and renovated. Very nice video thank you for share!

Used to sit and fish from this boat when she was a hulk in the river Medina above Cowes on the Isle of Wight in 1975, was still beautiful as a hulk!
