Hey Grace, if you're looking for a better Mastercard option, check out the BRIM Air France/KLM World Elite or the RBC Westjet World Elite. Both are great travel cards and benefits.
Rogers Red Mastercard = 3% cash back at Costco only if you are either with Rogers or Fido. No annual fee.
Oh I’m with Fido!
Btw they upgraded the Rogers WE mastercard, same cashback benefits as the Red basic one but also has other benefits!
It’s funny because you earn more using the Rogers MC at Costco, than the actual Costco CIBC MC.

@@itsgracehui yes because the Costco MC only gives you 1% for shopping at Costco. The Rogers MC gives you unlimited 2% cash back on all purchases, it turns into 3% cash back when you redeem towards your Rogers/Shaw or Fido service. The Costco card is probably only good for restaurants or Costco gas for 3% cash back.

I downgraded my platinum card to the gold (charge card version) and they let me keep all my benefits plus refunded memory of my annual fee back. Good deal in all so far

I did have it before! I think it’s good :) it’s just that I bank with CIBC ahah so there is an element of convenience there. I find the aeroplan cards across banks are all very comparable! I’d just go with the one you bank with already :)

how are you racking up points with the Marriot Bonvoy card other than the sign up bonuses? Is it because you book with Marriot every year? My daily driver is the Cobalt so I'm trying to decide if the Bonvoy is worth keeping.

Hi! I rack up Bonvoy by regular spending because its 2x points (better than platinum at 1x generally) and also transferring AMEX Membership rewards to Marriott!
I also book nights with marriott separately :) so not all of my stays are with points.

PC Financial Mastercard World Elite with no Annual Fee is a good Mastercard to have. Rogers MC WE no AF, if you have products and services from Rogers/Shaw.
