Hi Joe. I have a few general lees , an original roscoe's police car, cooters tow truck, daisy's jeep and roadrunner. I picked up a 68 cadillac car for boss hog. Now that I see all of your builds showcased in 1 video me thinks I might have to plan for a fall build on them. Thanks Joe for the inspiration. I'm still working on my datsun 240 paint< starskys torino and the 71 charger. Great job Joe keep on building. I slow on my end but you do inspire me. Thanks again.
Those are some nice builds, I've yet to build any of the cars from The Dukes of Hazard. That said I did visit Covington Georgia where they filmed the center of of Hazard about two years ago. Quaint little town. Turns out the also filmed Vampire Diaries and In the Heat of the Night in the same town.
Thanks Dirk, I watched a CZcams video that showed all the Georgia filming locations. There's also a video out there that shows all of the filming locations from Smokey and the bandit.
Cool looking trio Joe. Def want to build Rosco and General cars soon. Oh BTW, regarding mopar big blocks and small blocks. BB distributor at the front of the block. SB are at the back.
They have some parts, but not all. The MPC Country Charger has the front bumper bars (narrow width as in the first series), and a roll cage which is not at all like the General Lee had. It is missing the CB radio and antenna that the specific General Lee kits had. It is also supposed to contain the Vector wheels that the General Lee had, but a lot of the kits (mine included) don't have them. Also the decals don't include a Confederate flag or the General Lee text, but they do have a nice set of numbers. I had to get aftermarket decals, as did Joe.
