Your 'piddly and boring' is way deeper than a majority of us ever lay hands on... We also understand that filming and editing is time away from progress, so we understand! Get it done. 🤘

fantastic channel sir and thanks for sharing what you do, question, I've noticed you've used what looks like a K5 - K8 crank in your older cases is there a specific reason for that? I'm about to do the opposite and fit an older crank in to my K5-K6 cases just because it's the only good crank I have, good idea or not?
btw the crank I'm proposing to use is a K1-K2 and does not have the oil grooves in the main bearing journals

Ive done it both ways and found no difference in using either crank. I just measure em up and get the bearings i need to get the clearance right.

If by chance you have racer friends with busas. Can you ask them if your case restrictor that you drilled out for the block offs is equivalent to the 8mm Allen restrictor in the busa oil filter restrictor. And do you run a fixed or swivel pick up flat pan? Oil pan baffle also?

Yes on a busa i remove that plug too. I run a flat pan with a stationary pick up and swinging trap doors.

Do you build motors for other people?

I do not. Ive done motors for a few friends where i guided them thru it. But i dont outright build motors like a shop would
