What about "mayus toe hun wadey se teri " of Basaat ki Raat. and rendered by Rafisaab ? It was a very popular and hit song. We may also point out one big omission. Roshanji was the music director of film , Nai umar ki Nai Fasal . In this film Rafisaab sang an unique song , "Aaj ki raat badi shokh badi nat khat hai" in two forms.

इन सभी गीतों को रफी साहब के अलावा लताजी ने भी गाया है। लेकिन ये सारे गीत रफ़ी साहब के नाम से ही मशहूर हैं हालांकि लताजी ने भी बहुत बढ़िया गाया है लेकिन लोगों ने रफ़ी साहब के वर्जन को ज्यादा पसंद किया है यही कारण हैं ये सभी गीत रफ़ी साहब के नाम से ही जाने जाते हैं। और उन्हीं के नाम से मशहूर हैं।
बहुत साल पहले मशहूर फिल्मी पत्रिका "माधुरी" में एक मराठी पत्रकार श्री अजित प्रधान ने एक लेख लिखा था "गायन में महान कौन ? रफ़ी या लता" और उन्होंने गायन के विभिन्न मापदंडो और आवाज़ की खूबियों के पैमाने पर ये साबित किया था कि रफ़ी साहब लता जी से ज्यादा बड़े या महान सिंगर हैं। उन्हीं पैमानों में ये दो पहलू वाले गीत भी आते हैं जो कि केवल रफ़ी साहब के नाम से पहचाने जाते हैं।
आगामी 31st जुलाई को इस अज़ीम फ़नकार की पुण्यतिथि है। रफी साहब को इस फ़ानी दुनिया से गये 42 वर्ष हो गये लेकिन आज भी उनका जादू बरकरार है बस अफ़सोस इस बात का है कि ये महान गायक बिना "भारत रत्न" के ही चला गया।

But songs of yester years are of par excellence.Now a days you can alter or make any changes or twist good voices into bad voices or turn a donkey's braying into a melodious song . So dogs and and donkeys too sing in films and dance !
