This episode was one of my favorites and not just because it gave us the background into our couple but because it gave us the emotional background into the female lead. She said a line in episode 2 that went something like when you've been gaslit for too long, you lose objectivity. Couple the gaslighting with the fear of being alone and wanting to be anchored to something she was willing to allow herself to be treated like that by Min-Hwan and Su-Min. It was so powerful it made me tear up because from another perspective everyone would be like why would you stay but this episode explained so much.
Yeah it was heartbreaking to see how Ji-won was so emotionally attached to Su-min and Min-Hwan especially after her father passed away, she literally had no one else in her life to show her a positive relationship because Su-min had literally just alienated her from everyone and she was now heavily dependent on this two horrible people, so it’s understandable how she was gaslit to the point that she thought she couldn’t have anything better than what she had with them.

Su-min is so annoying and honestly the lead character is always jumping into conclusions it pissed me off at some point. Also loved the way Mr Yu beat up Her boyfriend. My favorite character so far is MR Yu’s sister. She’s so problem free and I really liked her in this episode.
I love how passionate you are about the series.🤣💞. Yeah I completely understand the irritation with Ji-won jumping to conclusion, I think it stems from her not trusting anyone really anymore cuz of her past
