XMAS TRAIN OF LIGHTS EPISODE FILMED IN 2019
General manager Chris is apprehensive about the railway's costly move to stage the "Northern Lights Express", and Kieran has been put in charge of organising and getting the display to operate.
Mark is working on No.8' Lucy's tram before he leaves the railway for pastures new.
Volunteer Geoff arrives (Pickering Station Group Chairman) arrives and gets his "elves" busy to
co-ordinate getting the station ready.
Meanwhile they find an issue with the J-27, and Piglet has to find a way of getting the engine fixed fast before its duties on the christmas trains.
We then see Piglet meeting "Santa" and asks for a boiler but gets a toy tractor for his troubles.
Meanwhile, Chris and head of marketing Laura are watching Kieran and the crew getting the electronics ready for the big start, and Mark has to venture out and change generators over.
The local press come and interview Laura ahead of the big launch.
And of course, it's never simple with steam and electronics.
Just as the display is ready, the laptop that runs the program for the lights doesn't work and only has 1% battery to run the whole display. Will it work? Of course!
Then we see the train in all its glory along the valley.
