Excellent review..Keep up the good work bro. Cheers!
How did I miss this awesome video? Entering for my chance now! Bronco Sport is pretty cool with this lift..
It’s cool you did this on a base model.
I love these baby broncos. Perfect DD
I wouldn’t. One of the things I like best about it is it corners way better than my Ranger Lariat FX4 did. And It still is pretty good off-roading. 🤷♂️👌
I really wish we were getting these in the UK
An unlifted Bronco is like having a burger without the fries!!
I would argue it's better to utilize a long travel kit when they come out, lifting can cause issues, but long travel will retain stock geometry, but also lift and widen it, and increase total wheel travel.
Edit: I just realized it may be macpherson strut all around in which case lift is the only option.
Edit2: I take it all back it's macpherson all 4 corners
Burger without the fries is good
Slightly healthier 🤣🤣
Or drink!
We need more videos on the smaller bronco and customizations on it too i feel like its forgotten
That rear glass flip up is nice. Just like my 2003 Pathfinder..wish it was a bigger opening like the Nissans though
I agree
I noticed the size of the opening and though it was really small too. It can't be good for rear visibility.
It is very small, I get that it could be convenient but I have hardly used it. It did come in handy for some lumber I took from Home Depot once, so there is that I guess. Still dig the vehicle, however.
Hey-ohhh every Ford Bronco has a bottle opener. Haha!
I was wondering about lifting a B Sport
I have a 2021 bronco sport Badlands it’s in the shop with rear end problems already 40,000 miles
My wife takes all the cup holders in the car.
My Ford stock is going crazy.
Keep them flying off the show room floors.!!!🚘🚙🛻
@townandcountrytv is the 1.5 inch the max lift with the bronco sport ?
Looking to learn about the lift and instead you are doing a full walkaround which is not what I clicked for. I wish this video was only about the lift.
I hear the engine covers are missing on all the 1.5"s
I want one so bad 😩
I used to install katzkin and those wrinkles wouldn’t have passed our quality control other than that they look good. Installer should have used the heat gun and rubbed the wrinkles out
Nice I like the bronco lifted
Looks great lifted. I hated these when they came out, but after watching videos and getting more used to the style, I am really liking the aesthetics and they seem capable enough off road. I’m just so uneasy about the engine choices. Wish they offered a plain gas 6cyl.
I feel like there will be a pile of trashed bronco sports once they hit 100k miles with those turbo 3 or 4 cylinder engines.
Ya never know in terms of reliability. I have a 2021 Big Bend with the 1.5 3 cylinder. And you’d never know it’s a 3 cyl. and Id go as far to say it’s even a little peppy. I traded in my 2015 WRX for reference.
Idk man Ford is known for making reliable 4 cylinders but yeah idk about 3 cylinders tho but let’s see.
If you haven't looked under the hood, you will notice you probably could fit a 6 cylinder in it. It would be a little bit of a tight fit but there's definitely enough room for a whole suite of accessories.
The answer is always yes
Didn't mention what size tire now fits with the leveling kit. Do you guys think the lift with be similar for the Maverick?
30"
So what happened to the bronco giveaway? Delete all the videos related to it?
Rotiform Wheel's 💞💞💞🥰🥰🥰🥰😍😍 toyo tyres ❤️❤️❤️❤️✌️✌️
why is the inside so small wow?
Where is the wrap ??
Can the RC lift be a DIY? Also, can deep dish rims & KO2 's be put on this?
hello! i own the 2021 Bronco sport and i have the Rough Country Bull bar + Light pods and the Rough Country 40' Light bar for roof Rack, I just had the Rough Country Lift kit ordered today and had the 255 K02's put on the day after the truck was purchased (Jan). Keep in mind 265 KO2 will NOT work unless lifted (i should have orderd the lift kit first lol but i wasnt intrested in it at the time as the 265s touch without the lift)
@@KazukiEC Awesome! Thanks for the info. From what I've been able to find that fits is the KO2 255/55/18. Looks like I'll have to do the lift/tire package at the same time. I've heard it said "Do it nice or do it twice" so darn it...gonna have to fork out more dough! Oh yeah...& the nudge bar/lights are on that menu too. I bet your rig looks beasty now. Cheers!
@@bayareakat66 the 255 KO2 does not need the lift. I had them on sense the day after i bought the truck. It's the 265 that began to only sligtly touch.
How does it drive with the lift?
Could they have used the explorer platform?? This is way to small in person
Well its about the Bronco sport not a explorer🤷♂️
I was hoping yall would lift it. Just saving 1 less thing to do when I win it fingers crossed 🤞 🙏
I would love to be the winner of such an awesome rig. It reminds me of my old 2008 escape before it was unfortunately totaled. I absolutely love my 2015 F-150 lariat which came in afterward.
Very nice truck I have the same one. I just bought mine last month, have you had any issues with it?
Loved my 15 lariat! Had the 5.0 3" lift 35" tires with the 6.5' bed, it looked TOUGH.. Now I drive a wrangler and my wife drives a bronco like this
Just purchased a Outer Banks over the weekend. Loving it. Question about the lift kit. What effects did it have on handling, performance, EPA? Also does it affect warranty? Guess the don't answer? Also they never did tell us SHOULD we LIFT but just a big sales pitch
I have a lifted sport 1.5L. Getting 22 -25 mpg
@@jondvapidest5520 What were you getting before it was lifted?
@@MagicFlyinPotato I purchased it lifted from the dealership. Will add that the engine & transmission setup is very impressive. Never feels underpowered.
@@jondvapidest5520 Nice. Have you done any trail riding with it?
Under federal law any alterations that don't damage the vehicle cannot void your warranty. The only exception is that the same warranty cannot cover the catastrophic failure of whatever alterations you add onto it.
I am biased,I am a Ford dealership employee from Canada, ie Nova Scotia. We have just gotten our third and fourth rig. Like the rigs, escape this one,but a four door ranger one of these days, your Raptor was awesome. I was told today not for Canada, pity,I have a Nova Scotian version of a mint 2002 explorer. Have a great Thursday, God bless, amen.
Any data on what the lift and tires does to the MPG?
Pretty poor, unfortunately. Hopefully the hybrid is a fast follow on both Bronco models.
I went from 27 down to 22.7.
Any idea why we can lift a Badlands?
Should you lift a bronco is the title of this video.. do you think you can do a short video time to time that pertains to the video title? You make some very awesome videos, full of valuable information.. but this video here doesnt give you a short and clear answer. They ended up being a "features" video. Just a suggestion because it would have been nice to have a 3 minute video explaining nothing but the lift. Thanks and keep up the good work
Answer is yes when you know you are going to drag or get stuck with only 7.8" of clearance. And stop calling this a truck
Is the lift kit void the factory warranty?
Hello, I own the 2021 Bronco sport and a i just had the Rough Country lift ordered for my Bronco Sport today through my local bodysho and i can confirm 100% it will NOT void your warrenty as verified by my local Ford Dearlership.
@@KazukiEC how did that 1.5 lift work out? Thinking about ordering one for mine.
@@js123able i ended up canceling it after 2.5 months of backorder. RC never seems to have any. I have a reservation for a 2 door wildtrek im holding out for.
On a side note, as long as you find a shop thats partnered with RC (listed on their website) you can buy these parts at a discounted price and have additional warrenty.
does this void any factory warranty?
Lift kits cannot void warranty under federal law.
So the base model comes with an engine cover for the 1.5L? But the Outer Banks version does not? What gives!?
my 1.5 big bend didn't come with one.
Why is Florida excluded for the giveaway
Lol
@@elchucofried5683 for real there was another one that also excluded Florida
Kelly Ford (Brevard County) has this exact white Bronco sport and a silver Bronco sport instock.. (as of 5/10, 1 base and 1 big bend*White*)
The next video will title Should you LIFT a Maverick
Wow, so much room under the hood, the forward visibility could have been greatly improved by lowering it!
There's that missing legroom he needs
It would look weird lower. I own an Outer Banks. We drove it from Virginia to Montana and back with zero problems from the hood height. I'm 6' 2" and it wasn't an issue. My 2017 F350 Platinum is more comfortable, but cost as much as two 2021 Bronco Sport Outer Banks, so should be nicer.
Could a lift kit possibly void my extended warranty If I were to buy a lift kit online.. 🤨
Update I call my local Ford dealership and they said any modifications I do will void my warranty.
@@kayleei8818 It only voids warranty on items you replace. A spacer kit shouldn't void your drivetrain warranty. There are laws Ford has to abide by when it comes to such things.
@@thybigballs sometimes its up to the individual dealership.
Can’t understand why SYNC3 is on a 2021 model? 🙄
Are Floridians really excluded from the giveaway?!
Does the rough country lift kit void the warranty?
it does NOT void the warrenty as i had just orderd the lift from RC after verifying with my local ford dealer today.
@@KazukiEC I just called around this morning and the dealers were saying yes... I'm am bit torn now
@@orunenf5533 according to my dealer it does not, as its basicaly a spacer, once i showed my ford dealer the parts in question i was putting on they assured me it would not void warrenty as im not altering the factory design of the suspension. So i went straight to my body shop which is an authorized dealer for RC and had the parts ordered through them. Even if the Suspension is dmged over time, RC has a 5 year warrenty on the parts and the body shop im using will fix at no cost. As long as you buy through an RC authorized dealer (you can see body shops that are RC authorized on their website) youl be fine.
@@KazukiEC that's a perfect answer. It seems like you would be messing with factory alignment angles and handling which I why I am concerned. I will shop around to find a RC authorized dealer and see what I can get. Hell... I'll go out of state if I have to. The baby bronco needs a lift and some new wheels in my opinion. Thank you so much
@@orunenf5533 this lift kit is designed to maintain the natural movement of stock suspension or whatever lol, at least what the rough country trailer for this kit says.. yes Rc has a trailer on youtube for this kit lol
When questions like "Should I do this or that mod?" come up, I have two answers, "It depends," and/or, "don't try to make a fork into a spoon, just get a spoon."
It depends on the majority conditions that it is driven. If most driving is done on nothing worse then uneven dirt roads, then any modification of it's suspension will likely create unsafe conditions and undue expense
@@rogerm3708 Right, use case is key and where the "it depends" comes in. Thanks for the response
this does not have a transfer case
Not sure that I like the camo decals on the TC Customs bronco sport (can be seen by going to the link for the lift). :/ I think the plain white or maybe a top hat setup would have looked nicer. For a marketing vehicle though it does bring attention to itself, so it's got that going for it.
well it looks like the camo decals picture has been taken down.
Yep! You saw a sneak peak that we didn't know about yet 😂
@@TCcustoms_ Mitchell should throw the Bronco in a recycling bin. It looks better recycled.
Price on base model is $26k+ with a msrp of $28k+…that’s not including dealer mark ups. You’d be luck to get out the door with a mid tier ecoSport for $24k. I love that every video I’ve seen, the dealer says the price is thousands lower than reality. 🤦🏽♂️
Yeah just bought one last night, ours was $41k
$40k for outerbanks after taxes.
Yep, I put down $6900 on a 2022 big bend that was MSRP at 35k, with all the hidden costs, still financed 30 grand... Dealerships make a bunch of cash in finance deals and ripping you off for your trade in (which I fell for that trick, GMC offered 27k for my trade in whereas Ford have me 23k, but they knew I was trapped because I traveled 1.5 hours to get the Bronco because they are so hard to get hands on today.
It was really weird knowing I was getting screwed while it was happening, but I really wanted the Bronco and was tired of searching the web and calling dealerships.
Paid 28k. Was 30 with taxes and all. Paid cash for a base. Love it.
I’m still convinced this is a Ford Escape, which honestly is a lot better than the Escape that is out now
your half right. in Reality the box design is infact based off the 2001 Ford Escape (Only this). But its in no way at all an escape, so dont let the similiarity scare you off.
@@KazukiEC was just talking about the Boxy shape. I have an 08 and would much prefer this tagged a an Escape rather than the new ones that are out. I love my 08 escape
Not the same at all, take one for a test drive! The sports alone are bigger than a jeep wrangler. They're heavy with impressive horsepower for the small engine that's in it.
so much space you can fit a 5 oh in there
with Rough Country lift, you can put up a 30inc tire on it.
Not really, maybe an NA 3.5 though
Thank you Town & country, for doing something to the Bronco, to me, it needs a lot of help, it's too small and girly, it seriously needs to be toughened up! I'm so glad we can depend on you!
Should have left it stock and let the winner decide what they want to do to it
I don't really think they gonna give it away
@@kiLLjoy24CALI we shall see
LOL spacer lift. RIP ride quality. How about a real 2 inch lift that includes shocks?
I put a 1.5 inch spacer lift on my 2017 Escape and it didn't affect ride at all. Since it doesn't change travel or the spring rate of the strut, it doesn't change how it rides. Now if the spacer goes into the strut or you lift via longer springs, that will definitely change the ride.
That have a spacer kit, and a strut replacement kit for the front. I think the back has to go on spacers regardless but you can swap the front out with what rough country offers.
You lost me at Rough Country lift
Coyote swap.
suggest doing some stretch exercises first
Heck no
Hope I win it for the wife! Lol 😂 she needs it!! She’s mad at me due to the fact that I own multiple fords! lol 😂 1988 Eddie Bauer bronco, 96 F-350 7.3 powerstroke single cab dually, 99 ranger aaaaand a 2020 f150 platinum! So she needs to win this!!!! Soooooo I can get me a 57 f100! 😂😅😂
These things are not made for off roading.
You never answered the question in the title since you don't have a bronco. That thing is even less of a truck than it is of a bronco
Totally fuggly
Nope, YOU are fugley
Bronco sport is a tall escape NOT a bronco.
try test driving it first before bashing it lol, i did and was amazed. i chose this over a mustang lol hands down.
@@KazukiEC LOL, when I see mustang I know what you mean. I choose any escape/bronco sport over a mustang.
Really disappointed in the bronco so far. It’s just a new escape....
No its not lmao. I own it, i have it modified. its nothing like the escape lol.
@@KazukiEC I guess I got see more. Just seen one at the dealer and was like wtf... glad your happy with it.
@@user-er7gx5sm6g your right about the escape part as the box design is based off the 2001 ford escape. But i put on 255 KO2 all terrains (from 225's) the day after i bought the truck. i put RC's Bull bar and Light pod kit, RC's 40' light bar and RC's lift kit(ordered today) as seen in this video and ARB Offroard is releasing in a couple of months the 5th wheel mounting kit, like how jeeps have their 5th wheel mounted on the rear which im looking forward to (Ford just began advertising this with their new partnerships when they (Ford) crashed the JEEP event at the Moab last month.
@@KazukiEC like any vehicle, mods make it! Would love to see it....
There's an issue when you have to go down on your knees to discuss the interior of the vehicle. The Bronco Sport is a complete miss for Ford. Look at the sales numbers for the Jeep Compass, its main competitor. It's garbage. Its geared towards 20-30 y/o single women who are clueless about vehicles.
Having a bronco sport is like telling your parents your gay for the first time
He took 30 seconds talking about the lift...
