He's a little light in the loafers if you know what I mean, I don't think he has any grandkids. But yes he seems like the type of person to make his mother take the bus just to save a nickles worth of gas.

This man is like the final boss of hagglers. It's an epic showdown between Pete and Dollar for Gas Man. Honestly a great display of bargaining, lots of other sellers could stand to take some notes here. Patience, charisma, sense of humor, tact and just enough give when necessary to get the overall deal through.
Also a great, eclectic collection of crap. Honestly I think he was happy after the purple heart. He seemed to lose steam after he closed the deal on that.

Patience is often built through experience and acquired interest. He may seem more patient with this sort of thing because it is his passion and his business. Making deals, chatting and checking out items, trying to imagine value. He enjoys this sort of thing.
He may not seem as patient in other areas of his life where he doesn’t take as much interest.
We are all human. Anyway love his work and not trying to sound argumentative. Just another perspective.

Pete you're a great and fair guy! I've binged watched your channel over the past couple of months my favorite videos are the funko pop figures and vintage video games/consoles keep up the great work!
I love this channel and watching the videos but this is the type of interaction I enjoy the most. You can tell the seller is one of those guys who will talk your ear off if you give him the chance and probably won't chip in on drinks often but I liked him. The bartering process was so much fun to watch. Neither side (Buyer vs Seller) ever got upset. Always maintaining a friendly exchange, game respecting game. You can tell Peter liked the guy too because he worked with him on his wavelength, patiently haggling over each item. I laughed many times during this video and replayed several moments. It wasn't until the very end after playfully but still optimistically suggesting an extra $20 did he finally let out a full smile after keeping his haggle face during the whole exchange. Favorite video so far.

My dad was a P.O.W. for three and a half years after the Bataan Death March. I have all his medals. I could never sell them. But is good to see what they could be worth. Bronz Star And Purple Heart. Many more. Thank you for telling some of his story

The Purple Heart should not even be sold. That should be donated to be shown off at a vfw, local museum in that man’s home town a marine corps league, any place that can show it. It was earned with a man’s life. Just my thoughts as a veteran. Love the channel.
