      It's smarter than the Smart, that's why it is called the iQ
      I still got my, 2011 iQ 1.3L MT discs all around, cruise control, driving it a lott,
      even long distances on the, German, Autobahn at 85~90 mph.
      Oil change every 6,000 miles and....... running 😎
      NB!
      At 6'4" size 15 feet, the perfect car for my, turns on a dime, no problem to park.....

    Here in Europe they are branded as Toyota, I bought a Toyota iQ with 1.0 3-cilinder engine back in 2020. we use it a lot (in the summer mostly), its really a great car. the only issue it has is a problem that is widely discussed in the forums, at 2000rpm a vibration goes through the car and everything starts to resonate. according to the forums this has to do with the clutch (it sounds odd to me). but really it doesn't bother me, its one of the nicest cars i have had, and i had a few (including v8's!).
    me, my wife and 2 kids fit in it, even now they are a little bigger..

    Ah the iQ. A nice car but a pointless car. Toyota wanted a piece of Smart Car's action and offered this car and it sold poorly due to the fact that you could get a Yaris for a a bit cheaper and it was both bigger and still got good gas mileage. Plus it was a Scion so Toyota treated it and its customers as red headed step children (I had a 2011 XB and it was always a fight with Toyota for any warranty work. I finally just dumped it and I have not had any interest in a Toyota product since)
    What the heck happened to that car? i can understand the dent but the pain looked like it was burned off it. Is your state that brutal to paint? My grandparents had a 1992 GMC Jimmy that from the day it was brand new sat and baked in the PA sun and dealt with rock salt in the winter and when I got it in 2004, it still looked better then that car of yours and it did a whole lot of sitting (only had 33,943 miles on it then) and GM was/is not known for quality paint work.

    • @TMPGarage
      @TMPGarage  Před rokem +1

      Yeah, it is kind of a pointless car, but I find it fun nonetheless, especially for $1000 dollars. Also the paint is bad due to poor adhesion to the primer. There was a huge recall but the person who owned it previous to me was too lazy to take it and have it repainted, and now it's too late.

    • @Leon-uj7pc
      @Leon-uj7pc Před rokem +1

      @@TMPGarage I don't doubt it is a fun little car. It just one of those why bother cars when Toyota brought it out. Of course judging by the way I had to fight with Scion for warranty repairs, the original owner probably would have to fight for that recall as Scion would have tried to worm out of it. The best part about my 2011 XB was seeing the back end of it when I traded it in to get a low miles 2010 Ford Ranger. There should be a USB port to the radio on the one side of the shifter.
