Blippi looks like he would walk up to you in public and ask you if you wanna see his secret freckle.
Fregly! Right from the diary in a wimpy kid series? Is that the right name?
Fun Fact: Before the actor who plays Blippi became Blippi he was known as Steezy Grossman who, as the name suggests, did horrendously disgusting videos in 2013.
I was wondering if anyone was going to mention this 😂 I still haven’t fully recovered from the “Harlem sh*t” video 💀💀
🤣🤣🤣🤣you mean the one where he shit on his friend 😅🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Are they on CZcams? And what kinds of things did he do?

I think he meant if they made it out with the raft instead of a boat...
@@silkwurth ??
@@silkwurth huh?
Their plan was to leave the island on a raft. He was saying that if we wanted to see if they succeeded, we would have to watch the video.
This could have been recorded prior to doing the survival though just saying
The way Daz is terrified of In The Night Garden its so funny. He always finds a way to bring it up and talk about his trauma 😹😹💀. I love it
I feel his trauma. I despise the show. My step dad (whos in his 40s) adores it. Unironically.
I forgot that shit exsisted
it was my biggest comfort show when i was a child. just 10-20 minutes of silly characters to distract me from the horrid world. i will admit that i was terrified of the haahoos tho.

God I love this man makes my day
Blippi definitely taught my son things each time he watched him, could be driving down the road and he'd be calling out construction vehicles by their names at 2 1/5. Also learned alot of other stuff that was basics and enjoyed the songs, but to this day, Blippi taught my son all the names of construction vehicles and dinosaurs. He may seem off the walls, but he's a great learning experience for kids cause he gives off that happy and bubbly vibe.
Exactly! Same with my 3 yr old.
That's useless information
I have 2 little siblings who loved blippi... they would ask to use my dads phone. It got so bad that I know the songs and now I sing along... that's the only thing they would want to do when they came over... it got so bad that my brothers used the phone more than my dad did at one point. Now they don't ask as much, but they did learn a lot of things

I think Bluey is a perfect example on a preschool show done right.
Where yes it is mostly aimed at toddlers and kids, unlike Blippi it never talks down to kids, not only is it well written and absolutely hilarious (especially as a adult) but it isn't afraid to tackle more serious subjects in the most subtle way that kids and adults can relate to, topics like neurodiversity, deafness, separation anxiety and even serious topics that even most adult shows don't do such as infertility issues and even hinting that Chili (the mum) might have had a miscarriage before bluey (thought its not outright said but implied) it greatly uses show don't tell, making it still able to be enjoyed by kids but has those moments where it shows the struggles of parenthood (though I'm not a parent myself)
It's one of the rare preschool shows that I would happily watch with my younger brother and even on my own, its a show that was made for both kids AND adults in mind
I love watching bluey with my daughter💙
I agree! I watch Bluey all the time with my kids! There's one episode in particular where the sister, Bingo, dreams of being in space. There's hardly no talking the whole episode but the music that's playing is so warm and comforting. They did a wonderful job using the music to tell the story and keeping kids interested even though there's minimal talking the whole time. It's different than a lot of other shows my kids watch. I love it. Im 30 years old but still find myself watching it sometimes without my kids lol
Ooh the Australian one with the dogs! My grandkids love it, it's really cute x I find myself still watching after they've gone home 🤣
OMG I LOVE BLUEY!! and im 17! its so comforting and fun to watch

We will never get another "Play School" ever. We will never get another Brian Cant or Floella Benjamin looking through the arched window. We will instead be getting more creepy-arse Mr Tumble characters like Blippi prancing around like mental asylum inmates.
😂😂😂😂 love this
@@taiamaifinch6354 "Play School" was a British children's programme which, in my opinion, was the perfect children's programme. It aired from 1964-1988 and it educated through playing games, songs, film and stories, and the presenters were all very grounded.
Not the case today, however. Mr Tumble is a creepy bastard, as is this Blippi guy. 😂😂😂
Ah Playschool. Supreme kids tv. Although to be fair CBeebies Tikkbilla was very similar it. It had the same windows round, square and arches that they went through.
@@MummyJilly Never liked "Tikkabilla", but you are right, it had the same clock for storytime as well.
But you can't get any better than presenters like Brian Cant, Johnny Ball, Floella Benjamin, Derek Griffiths, Eric Thompson, Chloe Ashcroft, etc, can you?

‘Blippis squeezed himself into another five year old chair , it’s the third time this week and it’s only Monday.’ 🤣
3:22 honestly I said the same thing when I say with my kid watching this man
My 4 year old has been watching Blippi for about 2 years now, and she's actually learned quite a bit from him! To us as adults he's silly and over-expressive, but to little kids/babies he's an idol, an icon. Someone they can relate to with how much energy and curiosity they have. I appreciate Blippli for his child-like ability to educate little ones. And of course congratulations to him for welcoming his very own little one🙂❤
I'm pretty sure he got exposed as a horrible person, I wouldn't want my kids watching him

My kids love him as well. My two oldest have kinda grown out of him but my youngest still watches him quite a bit. "Blippi" was the first word my oldest son learned how to spell lol
Then sorry to your kid for having to listen to ear damage at an early age. There are so many things now that can teach children colors, sentence structuring, even roman fucking numerals, and yet people let their children watch *blippi* a 30+ year old who acts like he's special because that's "children's education" level apparently.
My kids used to be obsessed with Blippi! I like him too lol the original Blippi, not the new one! He's a sweet guy that originally started these videos for his nephew to watch while he was away serving in the Navy. "Excavator" is a house hold song for my family 🤣 Yo Gaba Gaba would be great for Daz to react to!!!

Dialogue of a mixed race kid
I can confirm, as a mother of a 3yr old, Blippi has grown on me and I completely understand it.. In a way, its giving children who lack the interaction at home a chance to learn with a friendly voice/mature adult who can pass on their knowledge. Its allowing children to see more and live vicariously through Blippi and his adventures/excursions; letting them find things they are interested in. Also to the people saying its a downgrade from the airforce and whatnot, you do not know how much these childhood educators on TV shows/netflix etc get paid. Its NUTTY. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Actually the man in the blippi videos used to make adult vidoes and apparently these vidoes used to consist of him 💩 on people so maybe shouldn’t be allowing your child to be watching his vidoes bc let’s say If they searched him up they might find something that you don’t want them to find
@@lola4357 and the moment my child actively searches for “guy shitting on people” or puts 2 and 2 together that her fave childhood host and smearing shit over people are a paired thing, will be a fantastic learning curve. I can just see it now 👐🏻 ‘things may not always be as they seem’. But thank you for the parenting lesson Lola, much appreciated.
@@mxxgxn____ What Lola is saying is that by searching up "Blippi" or something related to him, your kid might accidentally find those adult videos of his. But hey, I'm no parent, do what you think is best
@@Toaster1111 I knew what she meant lmao, and it’s really of no concern considering how saturated the search term “Blippi” is and would be by that point where she’s old enough to understand. Also, she’s got a slight learning difficulty anyway so we really really won’t run into that problem. (I’m literally laughing about this btw, not my girl, just this whole thread bc I never comment on anything 😂😂)
@@mxxgxn____ Yeah, really an absurd conversation to be having now that you mention it, well I'm glad to hear Blippi's shit-eating past won't be a problem either way. That's enough back-seat parenting from me.

Just because your students like it is not a reason to put it on for them. Much better to try and get them into calmer things like videos of picture books being read, or preschool level documentaries.
Sometimes not giving students what they think they want is what will help them grow into good learners.
