It was a tough decision to make, especially since MuscleTech makes several kinds of whey protein, but we decided to compare the Double Rich Chocolate flavors from MuscleTech Pro Series Premium Gold and Optimum Nutrition’s Gold Standard. (Yep, they’re both called Double Rich Chocolate.)

i use Dymatize iso100.. but when im a little bit short in a budget i buy Rule 1 whey blend.. cheap but quality protein! Same guys who founded and former owners of Optimum Nutrition.. that's why the quality reminds me of Gold Standard.

I use ON for years. I'm a huge fan of the ON Pro Gainer. I use to use ON 100% Whey Gold as a post workout.
Is it okay to get whey both pre and post workout?
ON’s double rich chocolate is the only flavor that does NOT contain sucralose. Every other ON flavor now has Sucralose, which is 600 times sweeter than sugar. Personally, I love ON’s vanilla ice cream flavor and am not against the fact that it contains Sucralose. The flavor is great and I only use 5-6 oz of WATER. Another pro about ON is that there are no peanut, tree nut, or shellfish warnings (top allergies and I unfortunately have all of them).

I see ON products everywhere, but the protein always seems to fall flat for me. I do, on the other hand, like their whipped protein bites! They were, interesting?, at first but they grew on me. I often go to the for preworkout meals.

I normally use Muscletech Whey gold for bulking season, and then I switch off to ON gold standard for cutting down a little.

@@amgharibrahim5494 actually ON is better. I have used both for years and I'd say they are both some of the best but ON takes the cake. Chocolate malt is the best tasting flavor I've had.

I prefer ON Gold standard.coz i got some muscle in just 2 week.i really helps me to restore my muscle.

I don't like sugar in anything especially protein powder it kills the taste, so i always buy optimum nutrition(gold whey) .
I tried muscle teck vanilla and coffee 🤢, because of the sugar its an overkill at the taste.

I always hated muscle tech stuff. The protein is way too sugary, the creatine and pre workouts are sweet as hell. Feels like you just ate a bag of candy lol. But Optimum is good since the flavor is somewhat mild you can mix in fruit or peanut butter and it goes together great

ON flavor is very good! Its not too thick, its like "drinking chocolate in water" like what he mentioned if you know what i mean lol. Its easy to down it as the consistency is very light and not too sweet! Other protein powder just taste too much and thick in consistency which for me it takes longer to drink and i feel like i get tired of the taste and want something else soon.
