Synopsis: During a nuclear test, the French government inadvertently mutates a lizard nest; years later, a giant lizard makes its way to New York City. Dr. Niko Tatopoulos (Matthew Broderick), an expert on the effects of radiation on animals, is sent by the U.S. government to study the beast. When the creature, dubbed "Godzilla" by news outlets, emerges, a massive battle with the military begins. To make matters worse, Niko discovers that Godzilla has laid a nest of 200 eggs, which are ready to hatch.

Definitely watch the new one. As someone whose only Godzilla movie was the 1998 one, Godzilla Minus One is crazy good. It's a stand alone movie that I can't emphasize enough is super good

Some of us says it was a flop. Well I admit it. But what makes this movie so special to me? It's simple.
It's our childhood. I grew up watching Home 1,2 and 3, Independence Day, Tomorrow Never Dies, Lion King and Godzilla. Despite of the flops, as long as it has a special place in your heart, it will always be a good movie. Shout out to all 90's kids who grew watching these movies including Godzilla 1998

Watched this at the Cinema was really great. Should got on with the Trilogy no the cartoon series doesn't count at all.
just dropping by since of releasing godzilla movie and tv monarch series.. it seems they have forgotten my childhood 1st ever made CGI Godzilla Hollywood and i was amazed and WOW on that time..despite the design is not the OG Godzilla..R.I.P may not be forgotten..😅😅

Same here, this felt so, so real back then, watching this as a kid/preteen. Does feel dated now. But I still prefer this movie's CGI to the graphics in the new monsterverse godzilla movies that go overboard with CGI and end up looking more like video games.
