  • Sigmund Freud was an Austrian neurologist who thought that mental illness is caused by psychological problems rather than physical ones. Despite all of the criticisms, his views revolutionized the way we think about treating mental illnesses and inspired a lot of individuals. The "Psychoanalytic Theory of Personality," also known as Psychoanalysis, and the Psychosexual Theory were both invented by Sigmund Freud.
In Freud's psychoanalytic theory, the three essential components of the human mind are included: Id, Ego, and Superego. The most evident impact of Sigmund Freud was on how society viewed and dealt with mental illness and at the same time, I'm supporting unhappy people.
