@@SoDefFilms I disagree I find the little 300 and a blast to ride cause you can max it out easy without killing your self! I own one as a second bike and yea it’s no power house but it rides good and it puts right along! Its reliable, cheap and well thought out! Plenty of days I walk right by my liter bike to take it instead just depends where I’m going and what I’m going to do!

Amazing build bro. Love all the info. Very well put together. Only thing i want to understand is with the BBK is it eccentially the same exact block size just bored out the cylinder or is it a bigger block to make up for thinner cylinder wall.

It’s a bored and resleaved cylinder if you do a search on what a big bore kit is you can understand a little easier on it.

Awesome video! Did B&B made a custom BBK for you? Because I couldn't find any 84mm bored kits from their website.

Same here I only see CRF but no CBR300 kit listed. I emailed them but no response.
@@thehotrodexchange CALL..... that’s how I got mine done if you guys are not willing to go the extra mile to make calls emails messsges so on to companies I would highly advise not doing this work. Also understand the bbk is maybe 2-3 of the hp all the power is made with the head and cams....

I think you're the only one who swapped CBR250/300R big block kit. If I wanted to change the 250, I have to buy crankshaft and connecting rod of a 300 right?
my motor was a 300 from the start no such thing as a big block

Ok I have some questions for you, what was done to the valves and did you just have the stock cylinder bored to 84mms because am kind of interested maybe doing that and did you have the head ported

Yup you need to do a full tune
Curious about long term reliability and vibrations with this kit.
This particular piston with me doing wheelies and riding ended up having some excess wear because it’s not coated I wouldn’t do this again with out coating the piston

What does this bore kit do?
Nothing but waste your money. Sell bike and get a bigger one. Case closed.
Makes your bike faster snd more fun. The only people that hate on that like to follow over here we like to lead. And be different. Buying a bigger bike is too easy.
I had my 2018 cbr300r sabotaged by a nabor he pulled my oil plug while I wasn't home I just bought the bike has 480 miles on it me thinking its a new bike I just hoped on it not checking anything locked the motor up on it I still owe 4000 on the bike so I'm wanting to rebuild do you have any videos on rebuilding the bottom end and is it worth me doing the big bore kit while I'm at it what are the benefits of it
