  • I cannot tell you how often I get asked this question!
What's funny is food scientists have a ton of job options. In general, there's three different sectors of the food industry to explore: food manufacturing, ingredient manufacturing, and food service. I'll go into detail about all three of these options.
If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment! I would love to hear from you :)

Hi there, i just wanna ask that, I'm a graduate in food science & technology from India, and i wanna persue masters or high studies abroad..so, would you mind recommending some countries across Europe or NA or universities that would provide a better opportunity in the food sector after graduating and also one's that are cheap and easy to enroll in😂

I'm much more familiar with the US even thought I'm living in Europe now. Most of the US universities gave you a monthly stipend if you pursue a master's or PhD. Some good ones with food science programs are University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Minnesota Twin Cities, Purdue University, Cornell, The Ohio State University, University of Massachusetts Amherst, University of California-Davis

Take any advanced science classes available at your school. I took advanced placement chemistry and biology in high school and it was extremely helpful and I got to skip these classes at university.

If there's any product design courses available (I'm guessing probably not) but that would also be beneficial :)
