I think Dragonforce could but they all sings together in many concerts like when they sang Seasons together. All including the drummer and the keyboard sang. THe keyboard switch to a keytar and started play and sing side by side with the others. Just shows the strong relationship of the band and far they come. Sabaton is just like that and Joakim is a war leader who taught his lads well. They are brothers of metal!
Both guitar players are doing a heck of an awesome job!🤘 Now I've seen some comments here about how Sabaton would function without Joakim... I would say that Joakim is AT LEAST 50 % of the "Sabaton sound". Replacing him is kind of replacing Freddie Mercury... It works, but it would never be the same...
It's also not "just" his singing, he composes the MUSIC and a lot of the lyrics. So NO Joakim means there wont BE more *truly* Sabaton sounding songs... And the songs are MADE for him, so I *personally* think they need him to work fully... I mean this is really great IF the other option is NO show at all, but even as a history nerd, it's Joakim that means most to me in this baggage. He goes I follow him!
@@RegzalTGI do think if either Pär or Joakim for some reason left (or something worse), the other would propably quit. They are both irreplaceabe on and off stage. "The best" is a little subjective :), but It's true that Pär has written some of the lyrics alone. They usually work together. Also Pär never actually writes music, he does give feedback though. And so do the rest of the guys :)
This concert is a constant source of inspiration and enjoyment. Inspiration for those gray days when tasks seem overwhelming, just play this video of the band soldiering on through every difficulty and triumphing! Enjoyment because I love all their songs, and getting to hear Chris and Tommy sing is a treat, while Joakim and Par keep the momentum going strong.
If you listen closely you hear the Nervousness in their Voices as there are some Parts where they'd miss some Words etc. But nevertheless they managed it very well.
Jocke and Pär ARE Sabaton. As someone else said, Sabaton without either of them would be like Queen without either Freddie Mercury or Brian May, or Zep without Page or Plant.
@@paulsmith5752 Doesn't he write lyrics and some of the songs? I'm not sure, I really just started down this rabbit hole but if he does, as a musician, songwriting and lyrics is huge
Second only in stand in singers to Elize and Alyssa when they stood in for Annette after she couldn't perform on the Nightwish tour in 2012.... Second because at least they were part of the band unlike the ladies of kamelot.
Even worse Elize and Alissa were guest singers for Kamelot. I am pretty sure Kamelot only brought them along for their many songs with featured artists.
I think that the support act singers on Eluviete's recent US tour have taken the stand in prize, Adrienne Cowan from Seven Spires and Jukka Pelkonen from Omnium Gatherum.
They played there the night before and Joakin wasn't able to recover his voice. He had some inflamation or something that didn't improve until the hour of the show.
Basically Sabaton played in Knotfest. The following day Manowar was supposed to play in Hellfest. Both festivals were in the same place, happening on consecutive days. But Manowar decided to cancel and Sabaton was the only band around that could replace them on such short notice. The vocalist wasn't able to recover his voice until the time of the show and they had to improvise.
The "backing tracks" you are refering to is the choir singing and both guitar players singing..... yes, not much difference for some stupid dude that doesn't even notice the difference!
Uh... have you even been to one of Sabaton's live performances? It is so obvious there is NO lip syncing it is just silly you even bring it up. Backing tracks are used for choir and chorus parts obviously as they don't usually have a choir with them.
Not many bands could function perfectly fine without the lead singer, I guess it pays off to have guitarists that can sing

Chris has such an amazing voice . He would be a great singer

Chris sounds like Joakim sort of😳😳that's wicked
It's important to have other musicians in the band that can sing if needed! They did an amazing job! LOVE SABATON!!!

now someone is permanently replacing him! baahhh

Manowar who?
👊👊👊👊👊👊💌💌💯🇸🇪
Did he actually lose his voice or? Why isn't he singing too?
He lost voice.
They played there the night before and Joakin wasn't able to recover his voice.
He had some inflamation or something that didn't improve until the hour of the show.
When and where did this happen?
Hellfest 2019. Sabaton headlined one evening and the second evening they headlined again instead of Manowar who cancelled.
And unfortunately Joakim lost his voice. Both guitarist replaced him to make keep the show going.
The recent VLOG video on their channel actually brings this up
@@albaindufayet2619Forever or for a short period?
