so there is a island on the east coast of Australia called Moreton island that iirc is the biggest vegetatied sand island in the world and its amazing. 4x4 24 7 did a video going there a week or 2 ago

The "Diaphragm" for your inflatable mattress is actually designed to avoid you breathing moist air into the mattress. I think you're supposed to wave it around to fill it with air and then use the bellows to inflate the mattress. Breathing into the mattress introduces moisture, which reduces the efficiency of its insulating properties. I think you also risk getting mold as well.
Very true. I had one of them and I had no problems with it because I never blew into it but my sister got one and she blew in them and it lasted abt half as long as mine
