Rabbi I totally respect your views I was taught by a Pentecostal preacher. He always challenged us to ask him questions. He never put his self up above us. He encouraged us to not take my word for nothing, but search it out for yourself. I was very blessed to be taught by this man, but he always encouraged us to search out the Scriptures and never lead us blindly. This man has passed on, but he left a mark up on my life to never ever take someone’s word for the final judgment of your life. There’s only one that has that and I so agree, what’s the point you’re making concerning religion but I never experienced that I’ve been taught by him because he encouraged us to search and read.
When you stop thinking for yourself and searching someone’s views, that’s just what it is but this person that taught me was inspired by God in the scripture in by the Holy Spirit I understand where you’re coming from. Don’t never let religion or someone stop you from thinking never. to this day, I asked questions I have about other people being scolded by asking some questions. I have always studied somethings I was towed one time by a brother that I had better watch that I understand totally where you’re coming from, but never by my pastor that passed on, I was under his teaching for over 30 years he taught us almost the same word you were talking about if they can stop you from thinking they can stop you never stop asking never stop thinking for yourself

There was a nine (to eleven) year old boy I knew and he was nearing starvation, eating out of garbage cans, and sleeping in bushes on a beach in ________, __ or in a storm drain or in the sand under a Hobie catamaran. He eventually went to school in the same clothes every day. He had the clothes on his back, a bicycle from someone's trash, some discarded damaged crab nets that he tied back together with fish string, a bucket he found, and a nice new life jacket from the local coast guard station that he found floating up on the shore. Even though his father was there a few hundred meters away, the man was arguably out of his relative mind even though he was genius level in some aspects, a WW2 veteran and scientist type who walked away from it all. Attached to this little boy's spirit was the ocean, the sky, the sand, and the smell of fishy saltwater, the old timey songs his father sang to him every night after drinking leftover beers outside bars, and also he had his father's teachings of bUDDHIST philosophies every night followed by intense stories of war as more alcohol merged with blood. Later he had a love letter from a little girl that after less than three weeks literally crumbled away in the moist wind. He found a message in a bottle written in another language that included a mailing address and a phone number and he watched that too literally and metaphorically crumble away in just minutes. He watched all the beautiful families playing and enjoying their time while extra-level wishing he could have some bites of food. From this vantage point he could see things from maybe atypical perspectives, another angle on reality. When men's hands are soft and they've been riding on the backs of 'normal' people's work and integrities then it is easy to spout all kinds of high philosophies. When you're starving and cold with nowhere to go while avoiding dangerous humans it all adds up to reality and you can see certain major aspects of all this religion/social constructs from another angle. Ever have your father wake you up crying tears of joy to bring you over to show you a little common flower in which a dew drop shone rays of the early morning sun while he exclaimed that THIS is the jewel of the lotus flower? Feel it. Know it... Then after all that you find you've grown up in a way that you can't go to church to 'find God' because the reality you've experienced is so real and 'different' than them... and... and..., so you find a little boy who is so good and a little girl who is so good and normal and so overwhelmingly, extraordinarily, uncommonly beautiful in spirit that by default they become these massive arch types that point to a god that you will never know like everyone else around you knows, then you're afraid to go see them because you don't want to freak them out too bad when they see you looking at them like they are God-in-flesh incarnate... Come on, man! One day the boy even went up to a Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall and asked a beautiful family that was walking in if he could join them to hear the sermon and was told by the grimacing man to go home and take a bath and put on clean clothes and then maybe... Then he finally leaves the corrupted populations of the subverted city to go to the countryside and he gets there and he's surrounded by a few saintly sages over-salted by a population suffering mental illnesses and gross child abuse and drug abuse and suicides' and homicides and missing bodies and murderers and thieves and surveillance planes and drones and perverts and armed police and weirdos while fighting off a weaponized virus wrapped in even more military grade psy-ops and blah blah blah blah blah… All that and so much more and his story is NOTHING compared to so many! I suspect many of your people know all too well. Then I see ____ and sometimes I wondered why until I 'found out.' Tell him all about God, good Rabbi, because your words are like a lofty dream that he can never have, almost no matter what, and his delight is in hearing it anyway. I'll bet it was nice growing up like you did. I hope you and yours have made enough money, Sir. And while I am thankful for all your great teachings and goodness I say- The sun is setting and the moon has come out. Come check out this little goy flower, Rabbi... Rabbe Manis Friedman is a spiritual Tate. Love his tachlless words.
I am raised among dumb people with some psychological problems. As a child I felt permanently alone and unprotected. Till my donkey realised, that he hasn't a soul; rather the soul has the donkey.
We do serve the Lord by not identifying with our donkey, even he looks good and has some skills.
Praying only makes sense, at any religion, if we have the Mercy to forget us during the preaching. This means: become a servant of God.
    Make you useful trough meditation.
No matter what religion your donkey prefers. There is one God only.

However my favorite explanation is found in the new testiment Bible that declares pure religion is taking care of widows and orphans. This Rabbi is right when he says religion can also mean a wolf in sheep's clothing or a destroyer of ones humanity.

I can see why YASHUA was a thorn in the side of The Pharisees at the time he was being singled out as a troublemaker , He upset the sadducees as well , and the Sanhedrin , and yet ,because HE was so obedient to His Abba , that He overcame the death ,that by rights ,had He been a sinner etc as they accused him of, HIS purity overcame sin of the world and death itself,HE MUST HAVE DONE SOMETHING RIGHT AFTER ALL . HMMMM

religion ; an institution with laws and rules , for a proper way of life within the community , and then the praises we give God/Elohim , for giving us life and this wonderful home , we call ... earth ... halleluyah .............

    Knowledge Vs. Religion.
Knowledge of the truth of our creator and how the universe works is billions and trillions of years if no eternal, while religion is a teaching school and organization a few thousand years old or less that enlists minions. Each teaching school seeks to harness and control what its minions think and direct them towards a desired result.
No matter how good/bad/young/old or well intentioned. They all have a glass ceiling as to how much knowledge their followers are given and they all are directed like herds of animals. They are only as good or as bad as their current leaders at any given moment.

2:42 i like that except people don't eat after they have lived; they eat during life. If HASHEM/ELOHIM, IS THE G-D OF THE LIVING, THEN WHY MUST WE WAIT TO DIE TO SEE HIM, OR TO EAT WITH HIM, ESPECIALLY WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD EAT WITH US?

We've been misled into be-lie-ving that life was temporary and death permanent when in reality, it's just the other way around!

Religion should be mass communication on humanity, God felt great responsibility in restoring humanity from self destruction of humanity itself.

@7:22 “Religion keeps telling us our problems but doesn’t get to our solutions”. But Why keep the masses ignorant? For Control? Control of what?
