    This may be a controversial view but I consider Okey Ndibe a better writer than Soyinka.

      Soyinka tends to use a lot of grammar, It is a turn off to some readers. Ngugi Wa Thiong'o does it for me ( speaking of this cohort).

      ⁠@@yldabale Thiango writing is boring to read. I tried reading “Decolonising the Mind: the Politics of Language in African Literature”, I couldn’t complete the book.
